I wish they still had a model in production with a SIM slot. I'd like to use on of these as a travel NAS, but for that to work I need the USB port for the storage. These things can works with external SIMs in a USB adapter, but the devices only have 1 USB port.

I just learned of the existence of these a few weeks ago, what a lifesaver. Went to best buy for one, the guy never heard of them. Had to buy online. Anyway this solved my issue trying to set up an echo speaker at my grandma's assisted living. I'll probably get one for myself if I ever do more traveling I got the yellow one, it's good enough for a speaker

Great video! The sling would've been an absolute home run if it had a separate tablet compartment.

Does it do okay as a fanny pack? The straps look a bit small for that But i like to stow my camera when using my camcorder and slide it to my bum where it won't flop around on the shoulder would be ideal.

If you are carrying around a laptop why not set that up as a hotspot? I do this on cruise ships.

Huge Alpaka fan. I'm a weirdo and I have inexplicable brand loyalty. If I'm gonna get a bag, I want it to be Alpaka. I've had the Elements Tech Case Mini for a while and I absolutely love it, but I'm adding an iPad Mini to my tech loadout here soon. I had been back and forth on some of Alpaka's current sling/bag offerings that are large enough to hold an iPad Mini but I just wasn't sure on any of them. (I know that I would've been happy with whatever I got, I just couldn't make a decision.) Then I stumbled upon this video. This sling checked all the boxes for what I was looking for. I did a quick Google search for Alpaka Air Sling V2 and lo and behold there was ONE black one available online through a secondary distributor. Grabbed it because of this video. Can't wait!

One of my main gripe about this bag is having doubts: is it really 6L? It feels like it has similar capacity to Peak Designs 3L everyday sling. Anyways, I'm enjoying the much lighter and flexible form for a day out in town. It's also a delight for airports and flights.

Looks like the airline carry-on size compilation is gone. Too bad!

Tbh i've had one for years and I don't like it. It never sits properly anywhere, anything heavy makes it sag around to your hips, or bend over and it all falls over you. Tightening it just bring the padded shoulder into your throat as you can see in the video of his rather than resting on your shoulder snugly. It looks cool and if it's just a small something you're packing, great. But anything of mass loosely packed will make it slosh or choke you out.

This is a really bad product. (Glinet ones). It constantly disconnects. And my job requires a constant connection. Luckily I’ve been testing it in the states before I go abroad. What a disaster if a product. Can you imagine if you’re working and it keeps crapping out in a foreign country?

My camera setup usually consists of a Sony a6600 with a Viltrox 75 mm OR a Sigma 18-50. I also include a Comica wireless lav mic kit and a Peak Design camera strap or wrist strap in the main compartment. In the front pocket, I have a battery bank. I want to get this bag but I don't want to have to return it if everything I need doesn't fit. Do you think all of that would fit in that bag?
