Could have fixed ur old one by taking off the button and "re aligning" the 2 little plastic white sliders under the button. sometimes they get out of alignment. Save the money on even buying a new switch.

The actual solution is to replace the batteries and make sure that the wires haven’t disconnected. Hard reset with the master code that came in the box if you need it. The master code is also located on a sticker inside the mechanism if you take the entire thing apart from the inside.
