The first two words of this krithi is Kantini Kantini

Thanjavur Sankara Iyer compositions such as this one - ‘Natajanapalini’( nalinakanthi) : ‘Mahadeva Sivasambho’ (Revati), and others- ‘Muruga Tirumalmaruga’ (Harikhambodi) and ‘Paamalai’ (Shanmukhapriya) were popularised by legendary musicians such as D.K. Jayaraman and M.L. Vasanthakumari. His compositions are marked by a certain lyrical simplicity, but they project the grandeur of the raga. His disciple and renowned Nagaswaram vidwan Injikudi E.M. Subramaniam did remark that when Sankara Iyer composes, it is a natural continuation of his musical introspection and brings out a raga’s unexplored aspects. Senior vocalist and a renowned Music Guru Neyveli Santhanagopalan points out that each of his compositions has a musical intention. ‘Natajanapalini’, for instance, projects the gandharam of Nalinakanti in its Pallavi in contrast to Thyagaraja’s ‘Manavyala’ which stresses the madhyama. I should say here on a small GNB's kriti- 'Ni paadame gati naLinakaantimati' which I have listened the rendition by MLV after a long time....Nalinakanti, which is listed as a Janya of Shankarabharanam one of the most pleasant ragams is almost similar to 'Tilak Khamod' a Hindustai ragam which is Shadava-Sampoorna nature; in Arohana with 6 notes, ie. except D whereas Avarohana is with all 7 notes. All the swaras used in this raga are Shuddha except for N which is sometimes komal , displaying the characteristics of Khamaj thaat. Thus Nalinakanthi with S G₃ R₂ M₁ P N₃ S/ Ṡ N₃ P M₁ G₃ R₂ S can be related to this, though it does not have D in descent as well. At the same time many argue that Desh sung by vocalists in South in Carnatic Music is the closest to Tilak Khamod. Ironically here in South we should know that still many view this ragam as if derived from Sarasangi ( even 'Kedaram' too)! Regarding other Carnatic krities, I just came to know that 'Ishane koti surya prakashane kanaka sabhai' composed by Muthu Thandavar; I have listened this by Nithyasree and also by KS Resmi...Excellent rendition by MLV and her disciple Sudha Ragunathan....Pranams to the great soul of MLV..... Here the Vocalist- Sandeep Narayan presented this kriti with perfect modulated tone keeping the Madhyama sthai in tact.....could proliferate lovely eloquence in the exposition of ragam. The Charanam is so enchanting ! best wishes.
