Junghans wall clock
This is a redesigned Junghans wall clock from 1912. I guess, the original case was in a bad shape, got redesigned in the 1970s/80s. Movement is nice and shiny. At least that nes case was mad by a professional, some parts of the old case are reused too. (back, sledge for the movement)

Directly from paris, a 90% restored comtoise clock with day indication. I needed new frame, pendulum, weights and bracket. Movement is clean and runs fine What i need to fix: Alternating wheel, spring for the pointer friction, washer and pin, maybe new hands too

Meine Tante hat auch einen richtigen Junghans Regulator. (Mit Original Gehäuse) Der hat auch so einen Rundgong wie diese Uhr! Dieser sieht eigentlich aus wie frisch vom Werk(wurde vor paar Jahren vom Uhrmacher genealüberholt) Da wo der hängt in dem Raum wird der Klang des Regulators nochmal verstärkt.

It sounds like the electronics are dying! Might be a failing capacitor I doubt the electronics work now. Could you make a vid of the inside of this thing? I noticed that at 1:37 one of the weights are falling as the clock plays "music" and stops when the clock stops the "music", very interesting

Beautiful clock. Glad to see it has that huge movement with repeated striking. A lot of these clocks had rectangular versions of the round Paris type movements.
That looks a little bit like a later reproduction but I could be wrong. The pendulum looks a little too 1970s but idk 🤷🏻♀️ Still!. Very nice clock. Update: saw the videos bio. 1960s!. Yeah so a later reproduction but a well made and nice looking!

Beautiful sound but pls be careful when spinning the clock around especially with the pendulum on. There’s a thin and fragile piece of metal called The Suspension Spring which is what’s helping swing it back and forth. Spinning it around quickly like that can cause it to snap which then makes the clock useless until it’s replaced with a new one (trust me. Coming from experience it wasn’t fun). Other than that. Beautiful clock. Lovely sound
I am collecting clocks for over 20 years now, i know exactly what i do, when turning them for videos, i never had a suspension spring snapped.because of that. And for most european clocks, its easily replacable, i have enough spares in my little workshop. Clock still running fine with that exact spring :)
