You're in for a treat right as the video begins as a Metropolitan Line S8 Stock train sparks several times upon departure.
From there the Circle Line and Hammersmith & City Line join in with S7 Stock.
There are even more sparks at the end of the video!
The S7 Stock idles here at the platform. You can also see and hear the door opening and door closing sounds before acceleration and departure.

Wait, 2 trains per hour?! That... is an ambitious choice to say the least
We are not. HS2 is designed for a very high frequency service. It does not have to take freight because the freight can go on the existing railway.
Turns out it's aiming for 18tph, not 2. That vastly changes the outlook of it, sounds much better. Of course whether 18 can be achieved every hour is another question but I'll be more than happy if they do.

Good question, both trains are Siemens Desiros. So they have similar inverters and motor sounds - so they're more similar than it might seem.

What is it people love about trains. I don't get it, i mean there cool and all but what do you geek out over?
I'm gonna be genuinely honest, I'm still trying to figure out the exact reason, I just know I like a lot about them. I think it's the individual character of each train - y'know how petrolheads will say one car is wildly different to another? You get comfortable diesels like this, high-speed trains blitzing through stations, heavyweight freight or even just your common-or-garden passenger train like on the Elizabeth line. Every train is unique and so is every route, so there's always something to look out for. Does that answer your question?

This video should be better than the last now - colour on all labels, sizing and countdown timers for train horns. What do you think? Wind noise improvements should be coming soon.
The 390's remind me of the METROLINERS WE HAD here in America on the East Coast back in the 1960's!! Yes, The 1960's!!!! Very strong in Stature and Wellbuilt!!! Our METROLINERS could do every bit the 160mph on their speedometers and more!!! They were Marvels and Well Designed!!! They had an ALL FUTURE DESIGN, as i like to tell others!!! The 390's can roll and they are an upgraded PENDOLINO, thats known for speed!! Poland has the sleekest Pendolino!!! And that too, can "roll", with any HIGHSPEED thing out there, in todays World!! The PENDOLINO in Poland, is "Alligator nosed" and can cut through the wind, at High Speed!! I love the Pendolinos your country has because of the bulk and robust swishing sound, they Give off when they blaze by the stations at 125-127 mph!!!! Wrong! This is real. It's simply a feature of differing refresh rates between the boards and my camera, which records in 60fps. It's a fairly common thing to see. I'd be surprised if you haven't at some point.
