Action is श्रेष्ठ then inaction. Similarly if there is no action, there will be no शरीरनिर्वाह. So, in the context of work-whether in an office or business-completing your tasks is crucial. Further Refer 5.2 of Srimad Bhagwat Geeta- संन्यास: कर्मयोगश्च नि:श्रेयसकरावुभौ | तयोस्तु कर्मसंन्यासात्कर्मयोगो विशिष्यते ||2|| कर्म करना श्रेष्ठ है.कर्तव्य निस्वार्थ और निष्काम भाव से करना चाइए. This underscores that performing one's duties with a selfless attitude is more beneficial. Merely engaging in rituals without action will not be effective ie bring भक्ति in behaviour. For Instance if farmers were to abandon fieldwork and just do bhajan ,the production of vegetables would be severely impacted ultimately impacting us!
