Paula runs @floral_media a multi-disciplined business using horticulture on many different levels from workshops and training to running a wedding venue with her husband. It's a garden that we could all be a little jealous of, certainly it's and there are a few great ideas including some that Paula has gathered herself from others. www.floralmedia.co.uk

Adam is an LCGD Graduate with a wonderful large garden that he regularly opens to the public under the NGS open gardens scheme. Here he takes us on a whistle stop and inspirational tour of his garden explaining much of the design thinking behind the different areas as much as the overall garden. #adamveterelgd #hampshirengs #gardensatoldcampsif www.adamvetere.co.uk

Hi, we run a regular day about working in garden design called ‘So you want to be a garden designer’ with the next one in March. If you can’t make that then get in touch via our website and prospectus download and we can arrange a one to one chat. Thanks for your interest!
Hello sir I I did my BSC agri in horticulture I like to further study garden designing
What an amazing slice of Eden right in the middle of a metropolis.
Lovely garden😊
Wonderful. Do you give training? I am in west Africa. Thanks
brilliant Thank You Beaton was such a multi Talented Genius 🌸
Hasn’t stopped raining all summer😂
Hi Andrew, just seeing this video. Your garden is lovely! Could I ask what the taller pine behind you at the end of the video is? Thanks so much.
Thanks Kathryn- it’s a Pinus strobus which is just a common eastern white pine from North America. It is very slow growing in our garden taking 20 years to get from 0.3m to around 5m now but probably because it’s got reasonable restricted roots where it’s planted. It’s also suffering a little from bacterial disease but I keep pruning it out in the hope it’ll keep going…..It was once in demand for the masts of sailing ships!
Beautiful - I'll no doubt watch again, many times, for inspiration.
So many different varieties of plants and flowers and bushes and this kind of uphill… so beautiful.
Stunning
I have read the diaries , this brought everything to life , thank you .
Emily, thanks, an enchanting paradise, beautiful spot!
A thorough and inspirational explanation of the course which I will share with my 'green fingered' daughter who is contemplating following her passion for gardening to a greater level!
How long is your garden please?
Wonderful. 👍
I amazed that he managed to cover this video in such a brief time. The gardens are absolutely beautiful. There is so much to look at and all these individual areas. Spectacular.
Beautiful gardens, so inspiring. It is the perfect place for a party, wedding etc. I would imagine it to be so nice to explore all those pockets of gardens. You and your husband have done an outstanding job. It truly is amazing. ❤ from Florida, USA
That was fabulous! Thank you
Great video - and yes, I'd be starstruck too!🙂
Talk louder can't hear you
Wow! You've got an amazing garden! Thank you for sharing
Beautiful garden 🪴, so inspiring 🤲🏼
Really interesting - I learned a lot. I love the paving at the top of the garden. I too am fond of buddleia but had never thought of training it
Really liked your presentation. I'm 53, living in Italy. I moved here 23 years ago. I am, however , from London and many years ago did a foundation course at Merrest Wood. I didn't go on with landscape design at the time and went on to uni to do quantity surveying. I would like to know if you think doing a course like this Is workable at a distance. Thanks Zaf
Hi Zagreb, it’s certainly possible. There’s quite a lot of work involved, we’ve been successfully running our online stream alongside our in class teaching for 3 years now. Download a prospectus from our website to hear more but you can also ask for a chat with our course director to ask your specific questions.
Some hydrangeas have green-tinged immature flowers that will hold their green color
Gorgeous garden!!!💚💚💚🪴
Lovely
Thanks for the tour of your beautiful garden. Also think swishing past plants at close quarters is a must!
Can I ask what the climber is, the one by your small greenhouse. Pink tipped leaves. I could quite catch the name. So useful to see small gardens to get ideas for design and planting. Thank you.
From what I heard and then a search I believe it may be a Actinidia Kolomikta.
I have watched this video about eight times now, because I find this garden so beautiful. I have also bought a Cercis Canadiensis to plant as close to a wall as you did. Thank you for this inspiration!
Very nice! Loved the kitty popping round to check on the filming.
lovely.
So, so beautiful! Thank you!
I love the tall brick walls used in English gardens to separate properties. They provide so much privacy and aesthetic appeal. Nothing like this is allowed in North America unfortunately. Your garden is of course stunning! I love the front and back rooms most
I've no idea any of the names of these plants you are talking about but you have a stunning garden. So impressed. You know your stuff
Too many sitting areas.
Why?
It is wonderful to have as many sitting areas that can fit. It makes you feel like you are escaping and have a secret place to go. The sun moves around and so the garden changes. I love it.
WOW absolutely beautiful
Awesome garden! Thank you. So many awesome moments!
Exceptional research, image selection and storytelling. Thank you!
Wow, may be my favorite garden I’ve ever seen. Inspired.
What a delight
Thank you so much for showing us your beautiful garden, it was a pleasure to watch
2020 and Reddish House has been put on the market for £4 million. The garden was open during the 'Cecil Beaton at Home' exhibition in 2013.
Thank you so much for this 👍👍👍
I’ve always been fascinated by Cecil Beaton’s house and garden ever since reading about it in his letters and biographies. What a magnificent eye for English country gardening he had. I wonder who lives there now and how well they have maintained his garden.
I assume Robert Fripp lives there
he is not joking
Hey! That’s me.
