Now that St George has annexed from Baton Rouge, the numbers may change. The last I heard, Baton Rouge schools were dead last in the state.

There are many reasons why moving to Louisiana would be a BAD decision. Look past the fluff and hype and DO YOUR HOMEWORK. If you have children or plan to have children, think carefully before you condem them to all of the criminal, social, cultural, economic, political, and toxic environmental consequences.

We are gonna move live there in a couple of weeks in Juban Crossings it’s a very nice area but I’m worried about the crime 😢

Are there any historic homes for sale in Zachary? We’re considering a move from Texas and I want a large home (5,000 sqft+).

Never been there, but it was scary to read about the librarian there who received death threats after speaking out against book banning.

The criminals don't like the cool weather, is what I meant, to say, they seem to slow their activities down in the cooler months. But it is a beautiful city.

Good thing I can say about it is they do solve crime quickly, , but it's still so much of it, but dang you spoke of animals, good grief, no way. Baton rouge is much nicer in the cool months, it's like criminals take a break, I'm e they don't like the cool weather, and that is all I will say I know about it, but I don't want to knock baton rouge too much..

Some bad news about the interstate congestion remediation plans: I attended a couple of open meetings about interstate widening, the Washington St. exit, etc. Unfortunately, even if every measure were enacted, by 2030-2050, the traffic would only be as bad as it currently is-there will only be some relief immediately after they’re completed.

At 4:27 you stated going to Livingston Parish is East of Baton Rouge. By either 190 or I-10? You mistakenly meant 1-12.

If you're considering moving to Louisiana, the best course of action is to wake up and not move to Louisiana, which has the worst weather, worst healthcare, worst roads and worst education in the country. You can season food no matter where you live.

North Baton Rouge is a very dangerous place

Louisiana native here: The place to live in Baton Rouge is about 150 north, out in the country.

Ive been looking into moving there but not sure which area. Ive heard the schools are not good(would homeschooling be better?) but the land is cheaper thsn anywhere else. I like the laid back vibe and love they seem to share for each other which is highly important. Can you recommend an area? Preferably low crime

so much crime, heavy traffic, LSU is great, but that is only reason to be there
