Comparison in Bulgarian - сравнение на български език
Просмотров 2793 месяца назад
In this video you will learn several ways to compare in Bulgarian. When comparing using an adjective we would use "по" Васил е по-красив от Петър. When comparing quantity we would use "повече, отколкото" В София живеят повече хора, отколкото в Пловдив. If we want to say that the quality or amount is the same we use "толкова, колкото" В тази чаша има толкова вода, колкото в другата. Петър е толк...

Here is the same extract in modern Bulgarian: ... Братът трябва да отстъпва на сестра си; братовчедът - на братовчедка си. Избягвайте естествеността, която равенството установява. Естествеността води към вулгарност, а разтоянието от вулгарността до грубостта е само една крачка.Бъдете вежливи и въздържани един към друг, ала това никога да не идва до гордост и прекаляване. Има vs There is - quick lesson in Bulgarian

There are many differences between English and Bulgarian, here is a notable one found in probably the first structure you will learn "Тук има" (there is) Notice how we would use the verb "have" and also make a note that it will not conjugate when used in this structure. Има много хора на улицата. There are many people in the street. Има кафе и чай. There is coffee and tea. Има една жена на врат...

    Благодаря за видеото! Обикновено поздравявам приятелите ми с "хей", когато говоря и на английски и на български. Много не обичам да целувам или прегръщам, когато поздравявам някога. Предпочитам да се ръкостискам (предимно с българи, защото винаги искат да направят това) или просто да wavе. Мисля, че моята кутура (британски) е по-студен от България. Например целуването по бузата е малко странно и мислим за това като повече европейски"

    How can I know what words are silent? I didn't realize until I started learning that "B" и other words aren't pronounced harsh or at all. Like, I didn't know what you were trying to say on .27 sec playing "нес е..." when you actually said "днес е..."

    • @CoworkingStudio
      @CoworkingStudio 4 месяца назад

      Thank you for your comment. In the end of the words usually the consonants are more silent. Example: we write боБ but we pronounce боП. Sometimes when you have more than one consonant in the beginning of the word you don't pronounce them all. Example всичко - [сичко]. How to know? Listen to Bulgarian people speaking and you will get used. :) Practice is the key!

    I am really struggling a bit at some parts. I would love to see the lyrics here. 🗣 🎙 (Verse 1) Този начин на учене, аз го обожавам, Сериозността в себе си винаги носам. Без текст, се боря, половината разбирам, Но усилията ми са неизброими, дори и да ме бият. (Verse 2) Опитвам се упорито, да проникна във всеки ъгъл, Нека силата на знанието ме преследва като вълк. И пак без текст аз усещам магията, Научавам, вдъхновявам се, стигам до истината. (Bridge) Тъмнината може да дойде, но аз не се страхувам, Има светлина в мен, която винаги се надявам. Този път е мой, аз съм този, който ще го превземе, Със знание и вяра, ще достигна до върха, зная, че мога да го свърша. (Outro) Този начин на учене, това е моята игра, С усилия и стремеж да постигна целта си, аз вървя. Без текст, със сърцето си, сила в себе си нося, Това е моят път, аз съм готов да го изминя, нищо не ме спира.

    So I've been attempting to study 15 minutes a day. Does it have to be 15 minutes of NEW information or can it be the same information studied previously? Thanks for any tip.

    • @CoworkingStudio
      @CoworkingStudio 8 месяцев назад

      Hi! This is a great question, in the process of studying you have a number of phases and taking new information is just a little part of the whole. It is also good to say that even if we have practiced let's say - new vocabulary for a bit it doesn't mean we have learned it. It takes over 60 repetitions in real context that are spread out through time to really learn any new vocabulary item well. That means that it would be best to dedicate one or two days for new information, choose times when you feel curious and energetic, as for the rest of the time try practicing listening and comprehension, reading, doing some grammar exercise or just trying to chat with a friend. It is good to choose a thing you would like to focus on for your 15 minutes, it may be a topic or a grammatical exercise, it may be researching something, listening to a song and singing along with the lyrics. I hope this was helpful.
