"Cut it ooooout" made me a subscriber.
❤️❤️❤️
Good god I love your content.
❤️❤️❤️
I’m watching with the sound off and CC on and you’re STILL captivating. Immediate subscribe! Such a clear explanation of WTH luts are. I’ve been using makeup when I really want bone marrow. But….do luts work with iPhone footage? *leaves the scene to devour more of your videos*
Welcome aboard! There are LUTs for any type of footage. But LUTs only help you get the most out of a video file if it has been shot in a high-res flat profile. For the iphone, this means filming in ‘Apple Log’ using an iphone 15 Pro or Pro Max.
Your work is amazing! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Thank you so much!
This video will in my memory & heart! Bravo! ❤
❤️❤️
Can I just put a translucent piece of fabric over my ring light to diffuse?
Yes you can. As long as there’s a bit of space in between the the ringlight and the fabric. I have a video explaining that. It’s linked in this one. You might find it helpful 😊 (How to use a ringlight - 5 surprising ways)
haahahahahahaah love the "voibe" hahahaah..., can't stop laughing. Love it.
I mean.. isa good info but a youtube channel must be fun. Is very hard to have a good balance between "educational content" and "entertainment"
Honestly, I’m in it for the fun parts 🤪 I try to infuse some joy into everything I do. Thank you for the comment 🙏
@@anthony.sobrightie keep it up, buddy. Is good content and more importanlty, is entertaining. Love it
hahah the sponsorship... hahaha love it

I loved the way you used the AI background! I just noticed by pausing the video.
What? 😳 AI? I don’t know what you are talking about?! 🤪 Shhhh. Don’t out me just yet. I’m making a video on how I did it 🤪
Awesome video thanks in advance! What is your gears (Camera and lens) to shoot this videos?
I use the following: - Sony A7IV - Sigma 24-70mm I think the A7IV is so much value for the price. Cos it excels in video AND photo.
That was truly helpful. You know things are going to be creative with amazing results, when it is done by a queen! Subscribed
I’m happy you found it helpful 😊 Thanks! We drag queens are like swiss army knives….we do many different things and also weigh more than you’d think 🤪
I HAVE A GOOD COMPUTER BUT I don't want something pro just a simple software that I can use simply so I like CAPCUT and IMOVIE
Great video.. Keep it up!
Thank you 🙏
Toxic relationships end badly. Remember you can change your keyboard shortcuts on different programs. Also keep using Premier while you practice with another software. Also there are other photoeditors that have seemless intergration with video editors. At the end of the day. Programs will change and your love for it will change. Learn to adapt to changing software.
Why do u hate it then
absoLUTELY sign a prenup 🤦♀️ that is a family of snakes if ive ever seen one
Hahahahahha
I love love love the home made softbox. Huge fan of making stuff from crap lying around the house. I’m gonna try. 😅
Subscribed! You left out the most important info!! What’s your drag name?
Amazing. Entertaining and informative! Teach me teach me!
I have a small budget so I got a single Raleno soft box light for $30. My only challenge is keeping the glare out of my glasses. I tried a lot of things and angles, but still can't get it right.. Help?! A tutorial would be appreciated 🙏🏾🤗
You could perhaps try positioning the light to the side...diagonal left or right and as High as possible. In this way, when you are looking at your camera, the angle should be such that your glasses can't reflect the light.
See this is why you're quickly becoming one of my favorite content creators. Because I just did a video and used one of the LUTS from your previous video. And realized I really don't know how to use it properly, and was about to ask for this VERY tutorial. I use Capcut & just a beginner. I film on my Android phone. Basically I used 1 LUT but also overcooked the clips 😂😂😂 by adding one of their background Relight presets (Teal & Blue). Just did too much 😅😂, but I give myself grace as a beginner. Keep the tutorials coming on ANYTHING you feel like. For example, how to shoot cinematic B-Roll? Any other tips for creating an Editing flow to keep my life simple. After reading this whole term paper 📜 I just commented, just know this is my version of a simple, THANK YOU, blame it on the menopause 🫣
Haha! I love your comment! :-P I was actually thinking of doing a video about shooting B-roll....gonna work on that :-)
Typo in the title 🙏
Oops 🤪 ADHD meds didn’t kick in today 🤪 Thanks 🙏
Filters are literally luts, but uglier.
There are no ugly filters...just ugly footage....just kidding....:-P There's always a filter that fits a video....just gotta find it.....and finding a look is easier with a LUT.
@@anthony.sobrightie All filters are beautiful in their own way, lol! But what I’m saying is that filters are literally Lookup Tables; they can change contrast and hue. ‘Filters’ is the name mobile apps give to the Lookup Tables they use because it’s easier to say, and ‘LUTs’ is the name we use for color grading. Great content, btw!
Subscribed, this was so funny!
Imagine saying luts are the reason Hollywood movies have color grading ... if you say this to a real production crew they laugh at you and pass by ... and if you say this to the real OGs they look at you and say so what we did before digital days? Come on you can do better
You're quite right, LUTs are just one of the elements which when combined with production design, cinematography, lighting and other elements from 17 different departments, are what give what we know today as the 'Hollywood' look. However, even when everything is on point, take the LUT away and you just have a very good looking documentary. There's a reason 'Greys Anatomy' looks like a TV show and 'The Matrix' looks like a movie. I'd love to go into detail but these wouldn't fit into 60 seconds :-)
@@anthony.sobrightie you missed my point entirely. Yea, filmmaking and film colors involve multiple departments. (And this was first half of my comment point) however, color grading is not just about slapping on a LUT. LUTs are merely tools for converting colors or testing looks. No professional colorist would just apply a LUT and call it a day. It's akin to handing a painter a formula for Rembrandt's colors-they'd reject it because they want their own unique palette. Art thrives on experimentation and discovery, not formulas. If I were a director and found my colorist relying solely on LUTs, I’d avoid working with them. Color grading existed long before LUTs, using different processes (In analog films) ... Misleading people by saying LUTs are why movies look the way they do is irresponsible. Either you're parroting what others say without research, or you’re poorly conveying your point. And having a LUT for your camera doesn’t mean you can just add it and be done. In that example LUTs are mainly for viewing footage on monitors or during editing when you shot log. They’re not "therapy for colors." Shooting in log retains more data for post-production, not to let the camera dictate the final look. There are so many LUTs mimicking famous movies because they’re for testing, educating beginners, and quick content creation. In real production, a colorist’s job goes far beyond just applying LUTs.
@@jamphire_ Everything you've said is right. But hear me out.....Photosynthesis is a very complex process....how do we explain that to kids? " Plants breath in Carbon dioxide from the air and breath out oxygen so that we can breath. That's what it is but actually, it's not that....cos a lot more is happening there.....it's an illustrative over-simplification.....just as this video is....for LUTs.
Cant find any worthwhile LUTS for my Sony A6700. At least no baked in ones. Any recs?
Hey there, so I looked into the Sony A6700. To use a LUT, you'll have to shoot in a log profile (Log shooting should be 'on')....the footage will be dull and desaturated, that's where you apply this LUT - drive.google.com/file/d/1vKxXaugkzz_lNbDLqP_aCsQiwsjTKFmN/view?usp=drive_link (To get the colors back to looking normal). And if you're wondering why go through all this fuss, you'll notice that doing things this way, will help you have proper exposure on your videos.
add an S before it it's gonna be way better
heheheheh
A lot of what?
A lot of Luts :-)
So now you've got me interested in LUTS, but there's no link in the description 😭 & BTW I made my ring light 'soft box' per your other video and my inner 4 year old Thanks you 😊
Oh wow! Thanks for letting me know! I honestly don't know what I did there.....I must of deleted the link by mistake :-P Here it is: drive.google.com/drive/folders/1qIhd7ayjSF7yr4JQwENiI4ZMNFC9M5lp?usp=sharing And YAY! for the softbox! :-) I'm working on a DIY beauty dish video next.....Soft glam lighting for under 30 $ :-P
@@anthony.sobrightie Thanks for responding, I'll click that link once I get back to my computer & excited to try them in my next edits on CapCut 🤗
Thank you so much, this REALLYYYY explained what Luts r so simply
So glad to hear that :-) Check out the full video....I explained it in more detail there.
Hi gay. Really?
Yes….It’s Pride month 🤪
Very interesting, never heard of LUTs before!
i love u man i wish you were my better half😄
☺️🙈🥰
Good luck with this project... you rock!!! 👌🏼🙏🏼✨️🥰
Thank you so much!!
ADORABLEEEEE...I LOVE YOU ❤ and I can't wait to see more tips and tricks 💃🏻 I will try the "hand-made" soft box, too!!! Kisses and hugs from Romania 🇷🇴✨️
😘😘😘
My dream is to one day have a good enough computer to run Davinci 😂
Actually, Davinci can run good enough on almost any computer. You wud just need to work with proxy files. It definitely runs better than premiere in almost any case.
Very helpful! But please, no LUT-shaming!
🤣
this is gonna make my tiktoks so much better!!!
The only tiktok I know is Ke$ha’s 2010 massive hit.
@@anthony.sobrightie 😂
And just like that I'm running to get my styrofoam (* or whatever😅) to make this DIY!! THANK YOU ❤❤ ... and of course I immediately subscribed 😊
You can do it! Have fun!! 👍🏽😊
Thank you, very useful!
Glad to hear that! 🙂
2:55 😂💜
Amazing video. So helpful
Glad it was helpful!
Digging the jab at Taytay. The fan base is insane.
That was a cheap shot from me🤪I actually love her music….I wudn’t necessarily go to her concert but I’d stream it 😊
I use Fairlight a lot for broadcast audio and it's almost as good and as versatile as Pro Tools or any other DAW, although it does have its quirks and limitations.
I always get confused with busses and routing channels in fairlight 😳😳 So I usually default to adobe audition (which is low-key awesome)
Great explanation! 😂
Please keep making videos… it’s so helpful
More to come!
Please keep making videos… it’s so helpful
I am that friend that have been talking about doing content for the past 3 years and haven’t done anything 😅 hoping to start now with your encouragement.
Hi Friend! ☺️ You can do it! 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
3:04 The diy softbox part is the best
Thanks! I’m thinking of making more DIY stuff. It’s a lot of fun 🙂
@@anthony.sobrightie That would be amazing. I'd be hooked on this channel.
brooo r u trans 😂😂😂😂
