Troy-Bilt Pony Tiller. Will it run?!
Просмотров 2,2 тыс.3 года назад
Acquired a Troy Bilt Pony model tiller, the gas had turned into varnish and tar from sitting and ruined the carb. Can a new $15 carb from amazon save this tiller from the scrapper? Link to carb: www.amazon.com/dp/B07ZJ7P3Q1/ref=cm_sw_r_sms_api_glt_fabc_RE6KQRTCWZWXJPQVJ673?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

John Deere & Stihl Garage Toys Intro
Просмотров 1263 года назад
This is just a high level look at some of the toys in the garage, really testing out the video equipment more than anything else.
Well their assembled in the US and made in China i recon Same as all the crap we buy now and whats with them not using primer on the paint as this paint just cracks and peels off and the deck rusts
john deere is the best
I was looking for info on the model 70 when I came across this video. If you still have it, TexElec make a Sound Blaster compatible board that they say should work.
Just got a 1999 similar to yours. Runs like a champ only issue is the hot light stays on even right after I turn my key
Nice little collection. That IBM made me reminisce over the time I worked on both IBMs and Compatibles. From 1998-2000 I while at work, I scavenged various IBM desktops and Compatible PC's. Many of the IBMs were the PS/2 model 55; one of which I brought home with me. All needed DOS 6.22 & Windows 3.x to be installed and all were sold *"As Is."* Many had various games from my collection installed, which added to their value. Two IBM units had internal CD drives installed and some had modems put in. Some of the Compatibles I enjoyed more than the IBMs, but the latter were the majority that waited to be worked on and sold. All software installed caused me to stand there and wait as each disk loaded and another inserted. Sure it was nerve wracking sometimes, but in the long run, it was worth it... just to see these old computers functional once more. Nowadays, I have an old 386 that arrived with Windows 98SE, but it needed to be reinstalled, but there was an issue until the Gotek drive as well as the MediaCard 2 ISA adapter arrived. They are useful. Maybe I'll use the MediaCard adapter on my late wife's computer which used to run Vista or Windows 7 on it with a Rage Pro Ultra 32M AGP video card. Can't wait to get hers back up-n-running again.
You're a brave man for putting the trim on before you even try to start the engine.
Just picked up a '99 been sitting 6 years, had to clean a mouse nest in the headlight housing, and clean the carb. Mine needs tires, but otherwise solid. Nice score for $200.
I just picked this up from a neighbor for $250.
The start button is the red button...push up on it..multi function switch
It’s a tank
I still Got one of these guys
Thank you for the indepth video of the carburator. I just bought one myself off the neighbor so if you have any other videos of this exact ATV let me know thank you
I totally went and bought a LA105 at the dealer 8 years ago and it’s still running strong. I do all the required maintenance and she’s been good 👍
Ya, they are not homedepot specials, its a good machine with less plastic than modern models.
Hi. Does that engine have some (4) 1" alum round spacers between the engine and frame?
【from HIPA】are you interested in testing my parts for your machines?
Nice job!
It always makes me laugh when people talk about FPS. I agree back in the 90's and early 2000's, being able to run it was more than good enough. lol
I have on of these that's done 89miles from new. For sale on ebay if anyone interested!
Needs new bearings in the blade clutch. $8 on amazon for OE japanese bearings. Good mowers
Hey man! I see you make lawnmower videos but you should make more IBM PS/2 videos! This was great!
Yes I have another mower video coming up, then I’ll be doing a review on my Model 90 XP.
@@GeeBee86 no shit? I just got my first model 90 3 weeks ago!
Next TexElec will create an accelerated 32 bit MCA card with maybe 64 MBytes of VRAM & blue ray/DVD decoder.
Great video!
Just replaced the carb on a 2000 Polaris sportsman 335 (very similar). Since replacing it the idle is very high.. any idea what might be causing it or how to adjust the idle down?
There is a thumb screw on the bottom that goes into the black plastic cover on the carb to adjust the idle / throttle stop, have tried turning that out (counter-clockwise)?
I'm speechless! I never thought I would see this day.
I know right?!
Here’s a link for the carb. Mengxiang 798653 Carburetor for BS 697354 696981 ... www.amazon.com/dp/B07ZJ7P3Q1/ref=cm_sw_r_sms_api_glt_fabc_RE6KQRTCWZWXJPQVJ673?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
A link for the carb? I may need to replace mine on my 12210 bronco looks identical to this carb.
Added the link above for you.
Good job!!
I don’t think that yellow button is the start button buddy, on my bike it’s the over drive button, I believe on that year model you have to push the red shit upwards
You’re correct thank you, all the wording was faded off so it was hard to tell.
@@GeeBee86 right on...also fyi it engages your 4x4 in reverse.....after you engage your four wheel with the button on the right grip it automatically stays engaged in high and low ....but if you want all four to turn while in reverse you have to hold it down.....there is a way to bypass it but I’m used to it now, I’d just end up pushing it anyways....🤙
I just got done fixing up an Xpedition 425 and it took forever for me to figure out the red button had to be pushed up to start it and the button where the usual override switch is, is the reverse on the Xpedition. You push the button and shift down from neutral.
@@Dale37 hell yeah man …glad u got it goin.
Pp
I saw this video on an AD lol. Just the fact you’re willing to sit here for 54 mins and do this gained you a subscriber and like. Keep it up
Appreciate it! Hopefully it can help someone out, or if nothing else help them fall asleep lol. More vids to come!
@1:14 - IBM also released another 8570-Bxx that was straight 486 planar clocked at 33MHz - It's also easier to do a CPU upgrade because there is more room for a heatsink and fan. For others, the inside of an 8570-Axx can be seen at ruclips.net/video/6WbavG8LeW8/видео.html
