The footage looks great! I wonder, did you use the anamorphic de-squeeze option in Director's Viewfinder for this? I don't have the Sigma FP yet, but I wonder about the usefulness of Director's Viewfinder. Can you record 1080p 12bit dCNG within the director's viewfinder and use open gate anamorphic de-squeeze using the latest firmware?

@@sydneyaerialimagery8568 I ask because the aspect ratio of your video is only x1.5 from a 16:9, but Great Joy 50mm is a x1.8 squeeze. If your video was desqueezed x1.8 from a full sensor readout it would have the aspect ratio in your video, so I wonder how you managed this if the Sigma cannot desqueeze the video x1.8 from a full sensor readout :/ Sorry for my confusion here, would be interesting to know!
@@andrew_nayes i applied the 1.8 desqueeze in clip attributes on DaVinci and and used the aspect ratio you see in the video
used external monitor and de-squeezed on that@@andrew_nayes

I love the whole vibe of this lens, but I have an issue with the lack of a constant squeeze. The 35mm seems to make landscapes to distant, and the 85 seems like it might be too narrow. I think I will wait to see what is next in their lineup.
