Fabulous!
Cool!! I like how they used the best of both songs.
Why is he wearing that ? He is the master of the ceremony and should be dressed well coz.....he literally is encouraging the guests to stay and have a good time. Sometimes , changing something is for good ,and most of the times for the worse . 🙄😩
have you ever seen the show? he’s supposed to wear that lol
Umoff killin it
Irving, if you are still out there I hope you are still singing and performing!
New Rochele New rochele Thats the place where the mansion will be For me and the darling bright young man I've picked out for marrying me He'll do well, I can tell So it isn't a moment too soon To plan on my life in New Rochele The wife of my darling tycoon I'll be so happy to keep his dinner warm While he goes onward, and upward Happy to keep his dinner warm Till he comes wearily home from downtown I'll be there waiting until his mind is clear While he looks through, right through me Waiting to say good evening dear I'm pregnant, whats new with you From downtown, oh To be loved by a man I respect To bask in the glow of his Perfectly understandable neglect Oh to belong in the aura of his frown Darling busy frown Such heaven Wearing the wifely uniform While he goes onward, and upward Happy to keep his dinner warm Till he comes wearily home from downtown
Great vocals here..
Very nice 😊 I thought the pit orchestra was quite impressive for a HS production, unless it was made up of ringers.
In your face I see a lifetime. In this place I feel at ease. Wallpaper peeling, paint wearing thin. Here's where I end and begin I don’t need a roof to say I’m covered I don’t need a roof to know I’m home There could be a single shingle-dangling overhead I don’t need a roof to make my bed Close your eyes, I'm still beside you. No goodbyes needed today Hear what the rain says, Know what it knows After the rain something grows I don’t need a roof to say I love you I don’t need a roof to call you mine I don’t need adventure in some far away frontier I don’t need a roof to feel you near All I need is you and you forever All I feel is true and absolute I don’t need a legal deed to help me play my part I don’t need a roof to hold my heart Stay with me Stay with me
What bootleg score did you use?
Wow ‼️
Loved doing all those musicals with the inimitable Otto Layman, his talented students and great student musicians in the pit orchestra at Santa Barbara High School!
the clown in the back copying the moves is what I live for
This looks amazing! My troupe performed Magic To Do to open Shakespeare's Tempest last year! ruclips.net/video/Pw9t0Vb9gB4/видео.html
This whole video was practically my whole 4 years in high school. While I wasn’t a part of the performing arts, I was always helping with the sets on stage, building sets, helping with productions and even getting to know all these amazing and talented students. I love you SBHS, and I hope you can still make these amazing productions like the ones I’ve seen with my very own eyes.
As a member of the class of 2016, I’m glad I got to work with a brilliant theater director like Otto Layman. The memories from working on productions like Chicago, Spamalot, and the various Music of the Night productions were amazing and absolutely grand. Thank you Otto, for making my high school years the best they could have ever been.
Otto Layman: a Santa Barbara legend! So glad I got to work with him on all those musicals 2008 - 2013.
Way to go, Sio!!! Love these talented singer/actors!
I wonder if he realizes how he impacted these kids in his years of teaching and how he provided super entertainment to our community. Thank you so much. Teachers are so giving-shaping our youth to make this world better in the future. Gives us much hope.
That's a high school kid singing? She's fucking incredible. Hell, so is he? I thought SBHS was South Brunswick High School in New Jersey.
nice work sable!
This is a solid version . Great job
such a great song!
such a great song!

I miss this show. (Also Camille's facial expressions are hilarious)
This is really lovely! Does anyone happen to know what key this is in?
im two years late, but g major!
@@izzytepe Thank you so much! And no worries, still helps lol
Lol it’s hilarious trying to see people from California do a play set in Alabama.
WAIT I THOUGHT THIS WAS THE BROADWAY CAST UNTIL I SAW THE CHANNEL NAME I- ITS SO GOOD HOLY CRAP
@ITCJonthis was a comment from a year ago, lemme rewatch it 😃 then i’ll get back to you lmao
I'm auditioning for rosemary tommorow
Toria hope it went well!
Lovely performances... but wish the Rosemary had learned the melody correctly, though :(
me too :(
Pippin was eh. But the leading player was right on
Camille's voice still gives me chills!
Miss this so much 😔
Absolutely love the staging of this song. Rosemary also has a lovely voice. Great job!
...What kind of high school can put on such a show?! I would have loved to have such a theater program!
This Rosemary is everything that my school's Rosemary wasn't. Peppy, lively, and good at singing and acting. lol
Wow times infinity!!!! This is a HS production?! Holy bleep! Guys, I saw the original production as a 13 yr old in '73 and the 2013 revival. I'm certain that Ben Vereen and Patina Miller and their castmates would be as blown away by what you done as I am .bravo!!++
Question, my high school is doing pippin and I am playing the leading player. Where did you find the transposed keys for all of the songs??
I, the music director, re-arranged 80% of the show. We used a mix of original version and "new" version from 90's that featured a female leading player. This one, and On the Right Track, were completely transcribed from the soundtrack recording. When do you need them? :)
@@ucsbjazz2531 This key, B flat minor(with a d natural for the vamp, making it sound like b flat major), was also used for the 2013 revival and its licensed score too. Also, nice work with arranging the recorder with the two guitars in this song! It really gives the songs that medieval edge I often felt was often missing or overlooked in the orchestrations for this show. I assume, for the rest of the song, that you were using the Larry Hochman orchestrations from the revival, right?
POWERFUL VOICE
this was a creepy version lol (I mean, good job but yeah)
How did you folks get the rights to do the 2013 revival orchestrations? They sound so awesome.
I MISS DOING THIS SHOW SO MUCH
This is so amazing! I thought since it was a high school show it wouldn't be as good as the original Cabaret but it's just as amazing I'm so amazed rn!
These kids are amazing- what wonderful work!
such a smoothe Rosemary. love it
Can't wait to see the show !!
IRVING IS LIFE!🤗
