Does anyone know the name of the musical piece during the historical montage?
Bruce is our American treasure!
That was a Saturday afternoon game in the meadowlands between the Steelers and the Giants Two things, they had a pre-game story on Steelers paralyzed defensive lineman Gabe Rivera 2 years after his accident They tried to get Frank Pollard 1000 yd late in the game and they tried an option play and he fumbled.
This is the best version by far. The French horns at the end are my favorite.

Interesting journalism.
The biggest props? This was ALL live, musicians, backgrounds and all.

Just needs to have a guitar in his hands, but then the song doesn't really feature guitar.
Thank you for posting this! I had the pleasure of playing many blitz games with Harry Lyman at the old Boylston chess club many years ago.

No decade will ever compare to 1980s and 1990s 😢😢😢
Agreed. And not only because I was young then. The music was just way better.
Amazing song written and sang by an amazing, beautiful person there will never be anyone like Bruce ( the boss ) Springsteen ❤
This is the best live version I have heard!
The background music during Charles Kuralt's tribute to the people of Albertville is variations on Tamara Kline's unnamed Olympic theme, commissioned for CBS' 1990s Winter Olympics.
1984 - Tim Daggett and Rowdy Gaines.
An all-time favorite. From the year that NBC took over the Summer Olympics from ABC, so they really wanted to put on a good show. I love how the music for 1924 references "Chariots of Fire".
Best song to be written x
