Welcome to my RUclips page! I'm a sociology professor at the University of Toronto. I have done commentary in true crime documentaries like: "Secrets of the Morgue" (Discovery ID), Catching a Serial Killer (Oxygen), and Psycho: The Lost Tapes of Ed Gein (MGM) to name a few recent series where you can see me. I was also formerly on CBC's Sunday Conversation (2021-2024) before it went off air. I teach students about gun violence, serial homicide investigation, hip hop, martial arts, and other stuff that you can learn about on this page. I also stream my lectures on Twitch (jooceyjitsu) and often use video games and other interactive learning to foster student engagement. In my spare time, I train jiu jitsu and judo.
