Jake's hole/Cave entrance
Просмотров 34Год назад
This shows the entrance to the cave system that connects the ocean to an inland salt water lake. The flow switches from a syphon to a spring(water being sucked in versus spit out) with the tides. This ensures a strong supply of nutrients, making this one of the healthiest reef systems I've ever seen.

Probably a salt pool. Typically in fresh water they will sink, slowly, while with some salt content they will float, barely.
They float in the springs too IIRC. Next time I get up there I will give it a try.
Great brian.. no coral reefs
