While what Cassandra did was wrong and she went too far Zhan Tiri played her and made it harder for her. As the villain she did care for others and she didn't hurt Varian with the rocks. She hesitated when Zhan Tiri told her to destroy Rapunzel and tried apoligiezing to Rapunzel before she got back to normal but Zhan Tiri tricked them. She might have taken the wrong path but she tried getting out of it and do the right thing. As Cassandra said unlike Rapunzel it's not easy to her to open up about her feelings like Rapunzel and Eugine do. I'm just realived she did the right thing and they chose to stick together.

What Gothel did to both of them is awful but the fact that she left Cassandra and gave up on her is just insane. Nobody should have to go through this ever and she was so young back then it really hurts seeing that episode. She tricked both girls and got them fighting beacouse of the past and also they're differences but i'm realived they found eachother and chose to stay stronger beacouse they are sisters and belong together💛💛💛💛💛

Such a beautiful song and Eden is the best Cassandra by acting and singing. Her singing is absoulutly beautiful and she played Cassandra wounderfully as the kind-hearted sister and villain. Eden showed both her sides wounderfully and you can hear she had a blast playing her. I can not imagine anyone else playing Cassandra💛💛💛💛

Can we appreciate the character development of Cassandra? She comes off as arrogant, similar to Eugene, which makes her insufferable, but all of this was merely a cover-up for how insecure she really felt.

Man, Cassandra’s arc hit me HARD. I had always thought (like Rapunzel) she was happy in the little group with where she was. Little did I know her backstory and the connection she and Raps shared, which could have been so much deeper if both had realized sooner. Her arc was amazing, but man was it emotional realizing that she and Raps were so similar yet so different. Goodness I love this series.

I grew up in an abusive and neglectful family where my younger brothers always got most of the attention, love, and opportunities that I had to beg and plead for. I was always told to wait- Their needs came first. Their protection came first. Everything came first for them. Meanwhile I spent all my life being told that it was my responsibility to look after them when my parents are gone. My brothers grew up spoiled and enabled while I worked twice as hard to make something of myself. I tried so hard to love them and steer them in the right direction but no matter how many times I put their lives above my own they would repay me by essentially telling me to f*ck off. Now they're both grown men who lie, cheat, and manipulate to get whatever they want while never taking any responsibility whatsoever. My mother and the rest of my family continue to enable them while I remain in the shadows with a life of my own two hours away. Whenever they fail I'm always called to help clean up the mess and throw the dust under the rug, even in criminal situations. I finally had enough a few months ago and cut out everyone. Waiting really does sting and having to pretend that it doesn't takes a massive toll on you. My life is amazing now thankfully. To anyone reading this I just wanted to say that you don't need to be trapped in a cycle of abuse anymore. Now's your time to step into the sun.

This song really speaks to any actor/actress who dreams of getting the starring role but is cast a much smaller one. We're always left waiting in the wings of the stage until hopefully we get our moment to really shine for the audience.

Tbh , I can't help but cry whenever I listen to this song ... It's just that, I relate too much to it... 💔 The moment my dad remarried he's been treating my step family a whole lot better. Such as cooking them all sorts of yummy meals , buying them new things. something that he didn't do when he was still with my mom. Especially to my step sister they treat her as if she's a pprincess ,she would recieve all sorts of constant praises regarding with her looks , intellegence , skills etc... that I begin to think negatively and feel pretty much inferior towards her , that I would even question my own worth as result and be convinced that i'm nothing more than worthless... Seeing her always being at the pedestal where as my siblings and I are only set aside hurts me pretty badly that sometimes I don't want to go home anymore and feel this kind of pain... I even have plans for running away. Since I've realized ... That he loves people who aren't realted to him by blood , more than his real family... I've supported his decision in remarrying so that he could be happy , but I never signed up to feel this way.... Although despite this song reminds me of all my envy , resentment and insecurity it's actually my favorite of all the tangled series songs.❤️❤️❤️

The placement of this song in the show is... odd. Her best friend just betrayed her, stole an incredibly dangerous magical object, and no one know where she is or what shes planning. I feel this song would have been better placed after the resolution.

Cass is tired of being pushed aside so she just wants a chance to stand out and be herself without anyone telling her to 'wait or 'the guards will handle this'. Cass has been treated poorly by her friends so it's no wonder she snapped. I'm sorry if I've offended you by spelling something wrong or if you don't agree with me or if I've got the facts wrong , tell me if I have so I can apologise. This is just my opinion so you don't have to agree.

You can only tell a person so many times to feel happy for someone, before they start asking why they seemingly aren't allowed to feel happy for themselves?

I know most people who are commenting are talking bout how depressed they are and all that crap, but damn can we just think about this song for a minute. It describes exactly why cass took the path she took, she justifies it, in her eyes she's getting back and is doing no wrong. That's my opinion but get to the clips where she can clearly be seen second guessing herself... Idk what do you peeps think?

I try to avoid listening to this song because it is so sad to me. But Edens voice is awesome
