How to attach a gas bottle to a motorhome short version
You neglected to mention the single track road with passing places leading to Seatown, not nice if you meet the brewery lorry coming the other way ! Another pet friendly site a short distance away is Freshwater, the other side of West Bay :)
Every time you talk you tit and it's mad annoying
Been there a couple of times a few years back. Friendly helpful staff and an exceptionally clean site. And what a fantastic location. Faultless.
My "Happy Place" ❤ Thanks for posting.
Thank you for this, we are going there in a couple of weeks with our chihuahuas. Nice to see your doggies enjoying themselves.
Hey, great video, did you struggle to get the dog down the small cliff just before dancing ledge? We're planning on going here next weekend and would like to take the old springer spaniel.
Great idea, thanks. Is this enough to cover legal requirements, or do your fur babies need to be restrained as well?
Thank you!!! I am always amazed that RV or campers don't have pet options when you buy or after market options to do this. Great idea!
Lovely video. Scooby reminds me of my fox red Labrador Holly who sadly passed earlier this year.
ah, sorry to hear about holly. fox reds are such lovely dogs x
You always go to such great campsites, do you have a favourite?
@@galaxywhispers1787 lately we've been going to smaller, quieter sites. Our favourite this year has been Hayles fruit farm in Winchcombe, cotswolds. I haven't done any videos on this one. Lovely quiet field with basic facilities but next to the fruit farm and shop with great walking directly from site. the lion pub in Winchcombe is very dog friendly. I wonder if you took the plunge and got another doggie. Can never replace the ones we loose but each one has a special personality x
Sounds lovely. I haven’t got another dog just yet, but I suspect I will in the not too distant future.
Hello, how old are both Scooby and Ozzy?😊
Thanks - really helpful.😀
23poud for a 6kg Swap is outrageous, let alone a new one. My god I'm glad I don't live in England and have to pay that for LPG. I'd be broke after my first camping trip!
It’s £30 now!😂
Great video. Looks like you had a lovely break away
We did thank you. Very dog friendly 👍
just wasted my life
Hiya 👋. Are the coats made of one layer of towelling? Or is there another layer of anything to wick moisture away? I want to try and make something similar for our dogs, after being caught in heavy rain on the beach last week. They have very curly coats that hang on to wet and sand for ages. Thanks for your video 😎
Hi. The coats seem to be made from one thick layer. I did try to make my own ad these ones are quite expensive but my fixings weren’t as good as the triple strips of Velcro around the body so I bit the bullet and have been really pleased with the quality. One of my favourite things for drying my dogs is a big noodle mit ( bit like a pair of big oven gloves which you put your hands in). However normally I towel them off a bit then use the coats to keep the last bit of damp off the motor home chairs. Happy dog walking x
Very informative video - THANKYOU. We go at the end of July 2021, never been to Mawgan Porth, Sun Valley and also this is the first time we've hired a motor home. Can you recommend any nice restaurants in the area ? Your pizzas look YUMMY ... where did you get them - are they from on site ? Are there any good cycle routes ? ( We are a family of 4, 2 adults, 2 children). Also can you recommend any nice places to visit ?
Glad you liked the video ! There is a great restaurant called scott and babs just up the lane within walking distance of the campsite, need to book though as its usually really busy. We don't often go to Mawgan porth but did enjoy our stay. We usually go to Padstow and Mother Iveys bay. There is a great off road cycle route from Padstow harbour to Wadebridge called The Camel Trail. Its an old railway line so nice and flat for kids and lovely estuary views. Great fish and chips afterwards from Rick Steins on the quay. Have fun !
Thanks for the video. We are going there this weekend!
lucky things ! have fun x
Some facts for Dog Walkers to think about. About 33 percent of households in the UK have a dog. 67 percent don’t. Also not everyone in the dog-owning household actually owns or approves of dogs. Most people do not like dogs approaching them in public spaces but most owners think it is funny to see people reacting to their unruly dogs. Even other dog walkers do not want unruly dogs approaching their pets. Some Dog owners also use their dogs as a form of aggression release or to intimidate other people. When dogs are off the lead it is easy ‘not to see’ Fido poop in the sand or on the path. The majority of people go to the beach or green open spaces for peace and quite and expect them to be clean. But lately many dog owners are ignoring the rules and being very inconsiderate. The beaches and open spaces have many un-picked up dog poops and also many discarded poop bags. Poop bags hang from trees and lie besides footpaths or on beaches. Some owners actually accidentally leave full poop bags in the public toilets!! I have witnessed many dog walkers deliberately using Dog Free areas after 6 pm or when they think no one will be around. When lockdown is over most people will not holiday in the UK again due to the beaches and open spaces being overrun by dogs. So any boost in holiday trade will be short lived. Our Seaside towns will return to ghost towns immediately after lockdown due to the bad experiences most holiday makers have had. This could have started a revival of the traditional Seaside holiday. At the end of the day most dog owners like our public open spaces to be clean but there is a certain minority who spoil it. Maybe it is time for the majority of responsible dog owners to police the bad ones and clean up our beautiful land.
Great video, I am considering a campervan myself, can I ask do you find it restrictive in any way when driving around Cornwall, with so many narrow lanes, and some of the smaller villages where you'd have to park a fair distance away unless you're driving a smaller vehicle, or do you just tend to take routes and visit places that are better suited to the camper? Sorry if its a daft question...lol
Hi. The narrow lanes can be a bit if a challenge with a wide motor home ! Practise your reversing skills before you go there are usually plenty of passing places in most of the narrow lanes. Beware of stone walls hidden by lovely Cornish flowers. I actually haven’t found Cornwall too bad although wouldn’t take the van into any of the small fishing villages. Always been able to park and walk a bit. I found Salcombe in Devon a challenge as lots of very narrow lanes and every car you meet is pulling a boat so always felt obliged to reverse. A lot of people take bikes or electric bikes to get around from the van. Happy camping.
Are dogs allowed on the beach?
parts of bournemouth beach, near branksome chine/alum chine and to the left side of sandbanks are dog friendly all year round. other parts are restricted but dogs are allowed on leads all along the bournemouth sea front promenade. studland bay has some restrictions for dogs on leads in the summer, check the national trust for details. Happy walking x
Hi. Great coats. Out of interest where were you. It looked so nice with the beach huts.
Hi Karen. Thanks for your comment, this was filmed in Studland bay in Dorset. A great dog friendly beach with motorhome parking in the national Trust beach car park at Knoll Beach. One of my films shows this in more detail Mx
Your video is the best idea I've found. Also great idea for boaters with dogs too. 👍 Thank you for taking the time to video & post this! ☺️
Thanks for your comment Constant job to keep my muddy boys contained ! but wouldn't go touring without them x
Great video. Definitely is the best campsite. Lovely people, lovely location and great pitches.
Thanks for the comment. Apparently they are opening again on the 2nd December and for the whole winter ! Definitely on my list for a winter break. Happy camping x
Another top video 👍I love it when you venture into town and show us around 🐾
thanks darren. Love exploring with the doggies. Hope we can get out and about again soon
That looks like an excellent doggie holiday 🐾we might like it to 🤣👍
this is a great site, very doggie friendly with direct access to the forest from the site. happy camping x
Wow beautiful, I hope the dogs appreciate the walk.
the dogs always love a walk, although the wild deer and steep cliffs meant they had to stay on the lead for some of the way. x
Another great and very helpful video 👍🐾
thanks darren, we love cornwall. Happy camping x
Going to the oaks in may it looks great 👍 great video, just subscribed love the dogs, we have two too🤔
we had a great weekend in Glastonbury. Great to be able to walk directly from the campsite. What type of dogs do you have ? x

glad you found it useful We love cornwall !! we normally stay at mother ivies bay campsite, don't know if you've seen my film on that one. Have fun in the spring. We've just got back from Hayles fruit farm near Winchcombe in the Cotswolds, would definitely recommend, great rustic site, farm shop and loads of dog walks directly on the doorstep x
Ooh memories thanks for that Cheers penguin peter 😎
love mother Iveys. Hope you've managed to get away this year. Happy camping
Can you stay overnight their?
no, only for the day but there are campsites nearby at Treyarnon bay holiday park and our favourite is Mother Iveys bay holiday park. Happy camping
We’ve been to this campsite many times over 20 years. I agree with everything this lady says. Wonderful
Just wondering, how heavy is you motorhome ?
Not sure exactly but sub 3500.
Hehe, going camping at big berries campsite at golden cap in august too, enjoy your trips 😊👍
love that part of the coast, great views from the top. hope you get some good weather. happy camping
We have often wondered if you could walk to the tor from this site. We will definitely pay a visit although one of our dogs is a Greyhound who takes retirement very seriously and not up to long walks.
Ah, I love greyhounds, usually such gentle dogs. Happy camping. Not too long a walk to the tor , probably about 15-2mins. Happy camping X
Wow looks amazing. Lovely beach with lots of fun. Best wishes from John an sue .
my favourite part of Cornwall. are you guys campers ? x
Loving dem safety slippers 👍🏻
Great video, we often go to Studland with the dogs but its great to find out about those other beaches. Will be heading to Cornwall when we can. I would include Putsborough Sands in North Devon www.putsborough.com/ as one of the best UK dog beaches.
My god you send a cocaine addict into a deep sleep, cheer up for Christ sake
Lovely site. We stay at their sister site Highlands End and also at Seadown in Charmouth. I've subscribed to you too 😃
Thanks for watching. Love your drone footage ! I've subscribed to you too. I'm pining to get back out and about aren't you. My favourite place is Mother Ivey’s Bay in Cornwall, I've even considered booking a shift in Cornwall so I'd have an excuse to go there but am needed on the Ambulances in Dorset at the moment. Where would you like to go once the restrictions are lifted ?

Great video. Loved this motorhome. Caravanners at the moment
i saw this at the motorhome show last year, I loved it as it has a really spacious lounge, great garage and fixed bed. We have an Auto Trail Imala 620 at the moment which is shorter at 6.35m so fits on our drive well, again great lounge but the top bed sometimes feels a bit clautrophobic, i often end up sharing the lower bed/lounge cushion conversion with the dogs, leave the hubby up top. So many different layouts its tricky to choose. we've been very happy with our auto trail and got a good deal at Dolphin Motorhomes in Dorset, on the never, never. Happy camping
@@campingdogz626 thanks I'll have a look at the 620 too! I know what you mean about the top bed being claustrophobic. This one has a seating area big enough for my husband to sleep on while I have the back bed!! We looked for one with entry into the van from the garage so the dogs can have their own area too 😊
Charlotte's Pantry is our favourite place to visit for a coffee when we go there. We haven't stayed but spent many an hour wandering around as we head to or from Keith's sister in Swindon. There is a lovely chip shop on that stretch as well which does the best battered fish. Thanks for showing us around👍🐶🐶
Maybe Ill bump into you guys one day. We had some lovely walks around Winchcombe, but soooo muddy, I need to upgrade my boots ! Hope you're managing to get out with the puppies, looking forward to some drier weather soon x
