I’m sorry you’re giving up card making but we move on don’t we,onwards and upwards.😊 I’ve been trying to sell some of my many, many stamp sets with dies or punches that match. I look at how much SU I have and think I must have been out of my mind to spend so damn much on it all, people just don’t want to pay even an almost give away price. Good luck with your new adventures. ☺️☺️

What other white card stock do you use? I've found that the cheaper cardstock smudges. It'd be great to find a reasonably priced one that ticks all the boxes.

    • @poppycitrus

I have used mainly SU cardstock for my creations, but I am looking into alternatives. I heard Neenah Solar White cardstock is quite good. I will look into getting some in the future, once I deplete my current stock and test it out. I am not sure what else would be suitable, but I will certainly be on the lookout.

I do all my 20 oz tumblers with my mug press. It works great. This is how I do it. Wrap your tumbler how you would normally do it. Step 1- I put it in the mug press and let the timer run the normal way. Step 2- Turn tumbler completely around for 2 mins. (I set my timer on my phone) Step 3- Flip tumbler and now you will press the top part for 4 mins. Step 4- turn completely around and set timer for 2 mins. You are done! I broke up my stamp sets and divided them up into categories. All flowers together by type (realistic, bold, layers, etc), sentiments by type, etc. They are in regular A4 size 1 or 2 inch binders (i prefer 1 inch). My plastic sheets are laminating pouches laminated with nothing in them and doubled. Each page of stamps has a page stamped with all the images in page protectors. This is just to let me know when a stamp is missing or where it goes when i return them. I fit 7 boxes of stamps into 1 box. It saves a TON of space. I saved the original inserts and i may mark each stamp with where they came from. I won't ever sell. If i do, im sure this set up will be apperciated.

Thank you so much for watching, it's much appreciated. I thought the bubbles looked cool too, I need to do so more experimenting to perfect it. Once I do this, I'll make another video for sure. Thankfully I'm feeling much better. I've lots of catching up to do.

Are the ceramic ornaments sublimation ready or are they just regular ceramic?

I think it’s beautiful, although the offset is a bit larger than I would have made it. It’s beautiful though. 😊

Thank you so much! I agree the offset is large. If I'm to do a T-Shirt or something, it won't be as big. Thank you so much for watching, I really appreciate it.

Super cute! BTW - I don't think the teflon sheet is necessary. Butcher paper is all you should need. And then you shouldn't have any issue with sticking in between presses.

You did your best Maria. And it was good you were honest to warn others about the quality wood cutting boards required. I’d say because the material was not able to take the sublimation, it had some additives in it to affect the process. I’m sure it will work out the next time!

Thank you for this, but you can actually do this with a regular inkjet printer.

You are most welcome! Thank you for watching, I really appreciate it. I tried it out with the inkjet printer, and when I washed it, it completely washed off!! Not sure how others had success, but it was a dismal failure for me. 😪

@@poppycitrus That's because maybe your inks were the normal DYE inks. You must do it with pigmented inks that are water resistant.

Your scan technique is awesome and given my Portrait 1 with its PixScan mat a new life. I bought mine in 2016 and was not as successful. I was looking at upgrading to the Brother Cut n Scan or a Cameo 4. I decided to upgrade the Silhouette Studio software to the latest Basic version, reuse my PixScan and review numerous videos. I tried the smartphone calibration and photo but the resolution was not sharp enough, consequently the cut lines would have required laborious editing. Coincidentally I used my monochrome Brother laser printer/scanner and it was able to perform the PixScan scan. I selected 200 dpi for the resolution. Do you recommend a higher resolution for detailed 1:48 scale paper aircraft? Thank you for the advice and excellent video.

Your comment made my day! Thank you for your awesome feedback. I really appreciate it. I'm so pleased that you found this helpful! The higher the resolution, the better the outcome, so definitely give it a go. I struggled with the PixScan mat but I've had the most success with the scanner. Never doing the photo thing again, it was a nightmare. Thanks again for your feedback, I really appreciate it. 🙂

@@poppycitrus I've gone a few steps farther since my initial response. I upgraded the initial scan resolution to 600 dpi to match the detail on my subject. Recently I scanned the detailed image, while on the PixScan mat to create a PNG file. I can then OPEN that file in STUDIO and use the cut calibration file for multiple variations but the outline is identical. The size is kept original as the mat, so I have my input file printed at STAPLES. I can load any identical PNG image, position it then MERGE the calibration .studio3 file. I've also upgrade to the Business edition of STUDIO so I can export the file in .SVG format. I potentially wish to use this process to have my image cut on a CriCut or other cutters. Thanks again for the great inspiration.
