Things to consider: Consider why there are positive/constructive thoughts, feelings and desires and negative/destructive ones. Do you think that they come from the same place? Do you believe that there could be a realm that is undetectable to the physical senses from which thoughts, feelings and desires come? Do you think that each person is free to either accept or reject thoughts, feelings or desires, free to choose what to believe and accept and free to choose what not to believe and reject? Do you think its possible that positive thoughts, feelings and desires can lead to a positive, healthy life while the negative ones can lead to a negative, unhealthy life?

It is like all of the teachings and methods guided a lost one out of the desert and led them to a great chasm. There is some understanding that this chasm is representing the separation or pre-realization and one starts to understand that all of the teachings and methods that led one to this point cannot take one further. One realizes that no thing ever created can take one beyond this chasm. One then discards the cloak of things. Then one realizes that knowledge cannot do it as it is limited...then an insight that not just the knowledge of all history of mankind but even all future knowledge is useless at the feet of this chasm. So one sheds this cloak of knowledge understanding that along with it abolishing the need to know. One then finds themselves very light but something is still there...unnecessary filter separating. Then one sheds oneself...an ending. There is an ending (which is death, not of the organism) and in this ends everything put together by thought. Suddenly there is emptiness and the chasm was only there when you were. Truth is when you are not. Do not eat these words as they are the menu. 🙏❤

I try to make everything I have learned or that I know obsolete it is easiest when I find a subject or idea that I sense a twinge of resistance to and dive in head first ......I always end up shaking an old idea/mind-set loose. Or the opposite, I take an idea that i feel strongly aligned with and dive into counter arguments or alternative understandings. I never explain a concept the same way twice: or get in the same river bed, and take the same nap-twice. I don't think of words as containing meaning they point to meaning: that helps them flow cuz they aren't nailed down or encumbered. I also tend to use them like a paintbrush and talk in pictures so I don't get bogged down looking for perfect words, i tend to simple powerful images. When I am talking to someone who say, is into working on cars, my images naturally flow in that direction and take on some of that language because I know they are comfortable in that area and interested: it feels more personal to wrap my ideas in their own vernacular. This is awesome because it challenges me to find new words to speak to them: it helps get me in alignment with the pre-verbal knowing and flow with that essence and let the words spill straight through......it feels like they come thru me rather than from me.. ....Quite often when i explain things from this pre-verbal default mode: My own words smack me in the face, i recognize them as akin or related to other ideas I have had... I recognize them as my ideas as I speak them aloud, but am just as surprised by them as the listener is: as if we are both hearing them for the very first time. I had some little thing that grabbed my curiosity even for a second: and a part of me back-burnered it and completely forgot about it. Until i open my mouth and start speaking out of the blue, something new arrives shaped like lightning it arrives as a fully formed coherent idea, no storm in sight. I get to see through new eyes, a new vista I had never laid eyes on before: a new analogy or handle that lets me hold it, i see myself die to myself to be born again.....with no labor costs. Often it transcends and includes ideas I've had previously, but when i pull them from my subconscious there is always something surprising attached to it, and there is really no telling before-hand what has attached itself: a joke that makes me laugh, a thing i hear myself say that makes me go, "Whoa, I didn't know that, did I?" It approaches me diagonally and dawns on me: eventually the structure attached to this surprise shows itself in the light and i get a glimpse of the intuitive leaps that were made behind my back before my eyes by my subconscious seemingly effortlessly (I sure am glad I'm on the same side as it...or it is on the same side as i) ..if it was an enemy, My only hope is to permanently and pre-emptively surrender....I may be a fool, but thanks to the silence before sound: I'm never the same dummy twice. A new fully formed idea arises, as if it has always been obvious: even though I've just now heard of it and it flows out way better impromptu, than if I'd mucked about and I tried to compose it myself. Sometimes with using words I've have never spoken, sometimes in words that I didn't know that I knew. My brain might explode, or billow smoke if tried to keep everything I know about all the things, i think i don't, it won;t fit all on the local hard-drive I think if I even tried it: entropy and thermodynamics before calling the Fire Dept on me for breaking the laws of physics the two arsonists out of the kindness of their hearts would lovingly counsel me on the benefits of storing my unknown knowledge, non-locally. You can't have it all: where would you put it? If you gave me everything in the world, I would leave it exactly where it is.

This is really interesting. I watch people talking about non-duality but I haven't quite wrapped my head around it. From my own experiences I feel guided to act and behave in certain ways. I don't know if non-duality accounts for that but I can otherwise relate to how people describe it.
