To correct myself here: My apologies. I found that the ESV renders John 1:18 this way. I still believe that it’s a poor rendering of John 1:18. No other verses render it that way. The Gideon Bible also from what I could find, doesn’t site which translation it uses. I also couldn’t find any doctrinal stances on the Gideon Bible website.

Jesus said no one has seen the Father. You know why? because the Father is an invisible Spirit. However, Colossians 1:15-16 tells us that Jesus is the image of the invisible God. Think about this: who is the image of your invisible spirit? You are. Your visible image is a manifestation or expression of your invisible spirit. Are you and your spirit two separate people? No. You are one person with a body and spirit. The bodycan nott live without the spirit. Similarly, if Jesus is the image of the invisible God, it means Jesus is the manifestation of the one true living God. One body one spirit makes a human being.

Yeah man I've listened to this guy for years he is right about alot of exposing the devil but he defends his position of the dart being the mark as Revelation isn't written in Chronological order and brother "werks" puts so much emphasis on works based salvation and tells people that they have to live a certain lifestyle to maintain their salvation. This Man has really been a Disappointment! He’s from my Hometown. I remember his very first Pastor job/Church. He was a real one in the beginning. And as soon as he started fraternizing with the Devil instead of Rebuking the Devil. He has totally became what he had warned and taught us about. Fame intoxication is serious Drug. But it’s sad because soo many people have became tolerant and Blind to what is Holy and What is of the Devil. Because they’re setting in and under False Teachings. Which allows them to be ok with all that is Unclean. And their Entertainers, Sports Figures automatically get Fame Passes. Read Revelation 22 slowly and prayerfully their is One throne of God and of the Lamb they shall serve Him, not them, His name shall be in their foreheads not their names. What we see here is Jesus the visible manifestation of the invisible Spirit and God the Father in him and shining through him. Jesus is the express image of His Person, not the Second Person and you notice the Holy Ghost is not mentioned, because the Holy Ghost is the One ans selfsame Spirit of God himself, there is no third person.

Stop turning God into 3 separate beings God is A Spirit not three Spirits. Jesus said "I will not leave you comfortless I will come to you" Acts 20:28 says " That GOD purchased the church with his own blood." Get rid of this trinity. doctrine it is Roman Catholic in origin. Apostles never mentioned trinity. Ephesians 4 "One Body, One Spirit, One hope, One Lord One baptism and One God who is above all through all and in you all. " Different roles different offices yes but not different Persons. Colossians 2 says " The fullness of the Godhead is in Christ" Matthew 28 All power is given unto me in heaven and in Earth. The baptism is in Jesus name Acts 2:36-38 when you get that right and are filled with the Holy Ghost God will guide you into all truth and you you will see the Oneness of the Godhead. God is One friends. Holy One is written through out the Bible, but Holy THREE never not even once.

*Saving repentance is realizing that you are a sinner deserving of God's just punishment in Hell and turn (repent) from whatever you trusted in before, if indeed you trusted in anything; to trusting in the person and finished work of Christ alone for salvation.* He paid for all the sins of all the world at the cross (past, present, and future). That payment is put to your account when you have believed on Christ alone for salvation. Simply put Jesus is Lord God Almighty clothed in unsinful humanity and He is the author of eternal life to all who trust Him alone for salvation. Repentance of sins is law keeping and is certainly a lifetime of works and has never saved anyone or contributed in any way to salvation.
