“The devil is in the details” means to a catch or mysterious element hidden in the details, it indicates that "something may seem simple, but in fact the details are complicated and likely to cause problems".
i really like that idiom and recently i thought “that works great for the auto detailing industry”
detailing or washing cars isn’t difficult, but letting the wrong product dry on a panel could cause damage, to much product in a dilution ratio could leave streaks. improper washing techniques could lead to scratches and marring, what seems simple at first can be plagued with those little “devils” that we miss or choose to ignore. i’m creating this channel to share the tips, tricks, mods, and methods i’ve learned and discovered along the way. if you’re new and old to the auto detailing world i hope that i can help and entertain you, as so many others have helped and entertained me ✌🏽🐿️💨

today i did a decon wash on the bronco, it’s showing wear on the doors, water is now laying flat and sheeting instead of the strong beading that it was before. after the apc, water spot remover and crystal wash the doors are still sheeting. next time i’ll try a mechanical decon with a clay sponge and diy detail iron remover. #autodetailing #diydetail #p&s #waterspotremover #quickbeads #deconwash

ADS ghost is great but i had an issue the next day, emailed the guys at ADS and got a call back within the hour and we did some troubleshooting. i pretty much came up with the problem being that maybe i didn’t rinse off the p&s undressed completely. there may have been undressed residue left on the tire which hindered the adhesion of the ghost sealant. i’ll make a follow up video to show and ex...

@@frankieups oh for sure, for regular dressings nah i ain’t doing all that but ghost is a tire sealant and my first go around using it gave me hell 😜 i wanted to give it a fair trial so i went with that method and i will say it’s still going strong 🤘🏽🐿️💨

@@brianr749 KABOOM!!! darn it all to hell, i knew i shouldn’t have used mineral spirts that “ONE” time!!! everybody knows that rubber tires are just as strong and thick at nitrile gloves…hehehehe, it’ll be fine my friend 🤘🏽🐿️💨 and you’re absolutely not wrong, solvents like that can and may harm rubber, but that’s not set in stone. using those solvents should be done very sparingly “VERY”. but sometimes it’s needed to clean the stubborn gunk off of tires, which in that case it’s mainly attacking the gunk. i do not recommend mineral spirits be used every time you clean your tires and i hope i didn’t come off that way in the video 👍🏽

Adams makes a great tire and wheel cleaner, it’s my go to. I usually clean with acid 10:1 for wheels and then foam with Adams 3:1 to get wheels tires and fender liners cleaned.
@@jaydailydetailer right on! i haven’t messed with wheel acid yet, but adams is great…i’m not real big on cleaning fender liners but having a good acid on hand when i do is a good tip…i’ll have to try it out 🤘🏽🐿️💨

Frankooo bro the uss sponge vs the original red from optimum wich one is better?bc i use the red all this time and now i got the uss waiting tomorrow to have it in my hands is it better?
The original red sponge from Optimum isn't for soap while the Legacy sponge from DIY Detail, UBS(Ultra Black Sponge) and USS(Ultra Soft Sponge) are for both Rinseless and soap.
@@Dias-v i’ve only used the uss sponge and the new one from the house of rags. if i had to guess the house of rags is closer to size of the red/optimum. and if it is i like the uss sponge in the hand a bit better but i like the larger size of the house of rags sponge. both are great 😜🐿️💨

@@NathanBenIsrael and don’t get me wrong i would love to sell you one but the cost for a double clutch would be just over $300, parts, hardware, shipping (would be the biggest expense) and mark-up for profit. i’m looking into the possibility of making the handles to sell and ship in the future, that i believe would be the most cost effective way to get these out to people. while also complying with youtube’s rules of selling homemade products via their platform 😜🐿️💨

@@mayo8472 i’ve actually been looking at selling the handles by themselves, for the whole thing it would be mad crazy expensive. but i’ll letcha know what i come up with if you don’t mind a little “some assembly required” the parts to make it $80 - $90 shipping anywhere from $60 - $90 (because it ships in a large box) mark up to make a decent profit and make it worth my time to make $50 it would be waaaaaaaay cheaper to and easier to just do a handle and mounting hardware you could attach to a bucket dolly of your choice (though i do recommend the grit guard with 3in wheels)

Foaming rinseless washes are the best in my opinion. I always enjoyed using FUZION by American Detail Garage which was really the first FOAMING rinseless wash. I will definitely be buying a gallon of this stuff. Thanks for posting, I am impressed so far if it works that well and foams that well. The foam in my opinion helps to rinse away some of the dirt. It might just be me, but that's the way I feel. I just think the surfactants (foam) in a rinseless wash help to break down the dirt and carry that dirt away a little better and with more of a buffer so to speak against the paint, maybe to help carry away the dirt.
Oh, and I love that lime green Yeti bucket you have there. That thing looks good, I might have to get one of those.
If that is a rinseless wash and it foams that well, then I am definitely buying a bottle of that stuff. Most rinseless washes don't foam, but I have always been a fan of rinseless washes that DO foam. One great one I have used for a couple years is American Detail Garage's FUZION foaming rinseless wash. It's a rinseless that has better cleaning power in my opinion than other rinseless washes out there. Now, to be fair, I haven't used any of the brand new ones from Gyeon, Labo, Koch Chemie, and the hundreds of other new ones that have come out in the past two years. Rinseless washing is the new "buzz word" in the detailing world at the moment, almost like Graphene was a couple years ago. That's absolutely crazy how good that stuff worked on the rim and tire rubber. I have never seen a rinseless wash work that good. Amazing. I am going to be buying a bottle of that stuff immediately. I am going to incorporate that stuff into my winter wash routine inside my garage since I live in Colorado and have to do any washing inside during the winter due to everything freezing up outside.

@@FrankoDetails Thanks for the update. That is still incredible that it worked that well on the wheels, even if used straight. I prefer my rinseless washes to have more surfactants in them like Fuzion or DIY details rinseless. I am definitely going to give this one a try! Thanks for posting.

So the first time I used ghost I had no issues other then after the 1st layer you could barely tell anything was on the tires, so the next morning I added another layer and they looked fine but still a little too much of a satin look for me I like atleast a little gloss but whatever I didn’t bother adding anything layer, when it was time for a wash a little less then 2 weeks later I asked if I can just freshen them up or do I need to fully strip the old layer they said do a light cleaning and add a fresh layer, next morning they were peeling just like the issue you had the 1st time….So I cleaned the hell out of them with stjarnagloss forst & ads tire cleaner followed by stoners tarminator and put car pro perl on..I think I’m done with ghost I’ll stick with perl & darkside..love ADS great brand but just not having luck with this product just glad I only used it on my truck and not any customers tires
