love your channel, may i ask how do you animate? Manim?
I hadn't heard of 'Manim' before. Thanks for sharing! I created a small tool to turn my psychology study notes into videos. How do you like using 'Manim'?
I wish people did ideal choices, but i don't think most even try.
perfect choise is the one you make, because it is the only one you could choose with given conditions

dear youtuber, r u a philosophy/psychology/cogsci student ? this is a cool vid very intuitive
Thank you for the kind words! I'm glad you enjoyed this video. I work in finance but dedicate my spare time to psychology research because I believe mental health is crucial, and I want to help others in any way I can.
@@Xinyi2016 Interesting! That's very admirable :)
I love your channel. I always feel like I can leave every video having learned something new
Wow, thank you! 😆😆 It's awesome to hear that you're enjoying the content and finding it helpful.
ok
🤣🤣💪💪
Having a map of everything learned in the video is fantastic. When I research new stuff I make something like this so I can repeat what I learned with it. In the Future, can you release the final page for download?
I love that idea! When I research new topics, I also find it incredibly helpful to create something like this to reinforce my learning. I'll definitely consider releasing the final page for download in the future to make it easier for everyone to access and use.
The thing is that our perception is just result of processing of our surroundings by our brain. It can be very different from what others perceive or just be different than the reality itself because our brains are just evolved to survive and reproduce not to understand the universe but i can't say the same for all our perception like you can touch or feel the heat which is more objective than seeing or smelling. Also there is the factor of combining the information we receive which just adds another factor to all of this. To give an example for this would the schizophreniacs hearing hallucinations or having delusional thoughts. Also dementia patients with brain atrophy has different perception through visual hallucinations or the drugs also affect it. We know that others animals have different sensory input than us. So i think we are just delusional to think that we perceive the reality as it is and i think we should accept that we know nothing.
It's fascinating to consider how conditions like schizophrenia or dementia, and even differences between species, highlight the variability in perception. 👍 👍 Thank you very much for sharing your insightful thoughts!
nothing ever gave me better cognitive therapy than nietzsche. honestly, his cognitive style is the best possible one; it goes past optimism into radical acceptance of adversity as the very essence of a good life. hope, associated with optimism, can detract from here and now. it's easy to abuse it, so one should seek the ability to find pleasure in failure, like when you read a book or watch a movie; after all, who wants the protagonist to never face any obstacles?
True 👍 👍 Nietzsche's philosophy indeed offers a profound approach to cognitive therapy, emphasizing finding value in adversity. I appreciate your thoughtful comments.
this is so interesting! i'm wondering if it was maybe a little fast, but after going back and pausing a bunch I sort of understood more haha. thanks for your content! <3
Thank you for the lovely compliment 😊 I appreciate your feedback about the pace--I'll definitely keep that in mind for future videos.
I discovered you recently and I'm loving your content!!
Thank you so much for your kind words ☺️ I look forward to bringing you more valuable content.

Truth
That wasn’t a straw man. It was a counterargument (as opposed to a rebuttal, which would have engaged the original point about safety). A straw man misrepresents the person’s original argument. There’s no misrepresenting if the safety argument here; it’s just being ignored and countered with an argument about freedom. Someone is logically entitled to value the freedom not to be ordered around by a machine over safety. It’s a silly counter-argument as far as I’m concerned, but it’s not an illegitimate move in the discussion.
Thank you for engaging deeply with the content and adding depth to it. You make an excellent point that valuing freedom over safety is a legitimate stance.

I would like more details, it is not clear why some stayed poor despite receiving a cow. You say "opportunities". Like what, for example ?
They lacked additional necessary conditions, such as skills, health, or access to markets, which are crucial to leverage the cow into a sustainable income source effectively. For them, merely having a cow wasn't sufficient.
I thought this was a well made produced video from a big channel. It shocked me when I saw the view count and subscribers. I hope this gets spread about more its a great video, and hope your channel gets the numbers it deserves
Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm grateful and hope to continue producing content that you'll find worthwhile.
Love this subject and your delivery, thank you

Hello, what's your video art drawing sytles called ?
Poor people get pushed all the time in my country, pushed into jails, pushed for money, pushed out of jobs, pushed off of lands and pushed physically. It will be quite interesting for social sciences in a couple of years to see how much greater poor people get when the news is only covering the priveleged people and covering things that arent an issue will possibly see more poor people find the space to become what they want especially as we see how useless the priveleged will be
Improve my writing: "I'll be regularly checking out new comments on this video and running them through the estimator. If you've got more than one comment, the subsequent ones might take a little longer to process due to my limited computing resources."
Based on the input, the estimator derived 4 complex prompts with an average token length of 168.5 tokens per prompt. The responses generated by the language model averaged 342.25 tokens in length. - Cost for processing instructions (prompts): 1000 prompts * 168.5 tokens/prompt * $0.01/1000 tokens = $1.69 - Cost for processing responses: 1000 responses * 342.25 tokens/response * $0.03/1000 tokens = $10.27 Total Estimated API Cost for 1000 instruction-response pairs using GPT-4: $1.69 (prompts) + $10.27 (responses) = $11.96
Great work ! Do you have an idea about the cost on an average-sized repository ? (approx 10k lines of code + 3 PRs per week)
Interesting question 👍👍I'll explore later.
Fantastic use case
That made my day 😆
The first solution doesn't meet the problem statement. It's O(n) space complexity. The second solution is pretty clever though, and probably what the intended solution is considering it's marked Hard on LC (I couldn't figure it out myself before getting to it in the video).
It's awesome to see the polars growth.
Its a great display ... may I know from where you got the data ?
Glad you like it! Data was retrieved from FRED, Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis; fred.stlouisfed.org/series/UNRATE
