Having fun and adjusting graphics setup. You always need to test performance in a dogfight with fast moving object(s). Turns out it runs smoother with motion reprojections off (Using MT preview version). If it's enabled you always get the double vision when the other aircraft passes you nearby. Testing the FlyByWire Simulations A32NX in VR (flybywiresim.com). This add-on is amazing and it's free. Highly recommend it but I did have difficulties to get it running smoothly with my hardware using decent graphics settings and DX12 / DLSS (Ultra Performance). For some reason I am getting the same frame rate or less, at 1080p with raytracing off... any help?
Memory for example can have quite an impact on overall performance. You can try to check your memory frequency and also other bios setup..
@@iivaris Yeah, I think I'm also getting a bad bottleneck. So I'm probably gonna grab a 5800x, since they've gone down in price. Can I ask, are you running your 5800x on a B450 board?
@@guegel7720 I have Asus Prime 470x board. Had update bios to get the 5800X working in it so a newer board would be better. Make sure you got the right memory for the processor. Don't know what memory speed it's capable because I use the ones I had for the 2700x and I'm pretty sure 5800x can do a lot better than 3200Mhz.

Hey man, i have the same setup and get like only ~30-40 fps with your settings... do you have any tipps?
Well the CPU should be the limiting part of hardware in your case as well so I'd check bios and make sure you have latest version installed. Have AI overclock tuner (D.O.C.P) on in bios if available and not manual OC. Also make sure you have correct memory frequency set. Make sure you don't have any additional software running on background consuming CPU capacity. I use Asus GPU Tweak Gaming Booster functionality to shut down all unnecessary processes before I play.

Did you have DSLL on? If so what setting was it on?
I think it's balanced in default Ultra. However I use quality normally as is doesn't seem to effect the performance. Maybe because GPU is not limiting the performance with my hardware.

thanks for providing the CPU percentage, every other video i find they seem to want to hide this.. i was a little worried about the CPU bottleneck but it honestly doesn't look that bad.
this is without AMD fix to use Hyperthreading

@@iivaris I think yes, I got intel myself so I ain't sure . Just check your cpu usage when you play the game. ~60% doesn't use 60+ use
