Those aren't quarter note triplets, they're 2 dotted 8th notes and 1 normal 8th note.

in bars 4, 6, and 8, the rhythm should be a tresillo (2 dotted 8ths and a normal one, not 3 triplets; they are lopsided in the orginal)
