Having some fun covering Prayer by Gorgoroth What a comeback of an album getting Pest back on vocals, it was so good it basically rendered the entire Gaahl era completely useless which to be fair, it is. Here's a play through of The Raven and The Rose by My Dying Bride. A song off of The Dreadful Hours which is one of my favorite albums ever, hearing it for the first time honestly shocked me. Never did i think i would hear something that i could relate so well personally with my own feelings of utter depression, bitter loss, hopelessness and apathy but still sounding super heavy.

That's stellar for only being a year in! Room for improvement (there always is as a musician). I was watching expecting something much more noticeable and at the end was like "....where fail??". I agree with your bandmates. That was killer.
You sound good for a year. I would practice the songs at a slower tempo to really nail them down, thats all ur missing IMO
