Great recap
Great video, and some nice games. I'm not a choice member because my backlog is big. Lost Eidolons and Guardians are the only 2 I would play
They were also my top 2 from this month. I was very surprised at the"Mostly Positive" rating for Lost Eidolo so on Steam It a one of the more polished titles in the bundle and is a lot of fun.
hey most people that watches these are also humble choice members so it's possible they already have the games you're giving away in their libraries (why else watch a review of it's performance) maybe you'd have more success giving away keys from other bundles here I'd very much like a Resident Evil 8 key 👀 lol
The may have skiped yakuza month like me :)
Great review. Thanks a bunch for your effort. Looking forward the next one. ❤❤❤❤❤
🔥🔥🔥
I had played the demo of this during Next Fest with my wife and we found it very enjoyable. We play a lot of survival games so much so that they become very by the numbers a lot of the time. But Abiotic Factor felt like such a breath of fresh air into the survival crafting genre and had me thinking outside the box at times since it's not the typical cut a tree, break a stone, etc. Definitely want to pick this one up at some point in the future.
It's an amazing game and really reinvents the genre. I highly recommend it.
16:50 lol for real. One of my commenters had figured it was probably a marketing push and I'm inclined to agree...but only for Epic...why?? Great review once again! I'm amazed how succinct you are with describing each game very well but also give insight as to how they each run on the deck. I'm happy to see that our thoughts on InfraSpace were pretty much aligned. Was having serious doubts because I was seeing the Very Positive reviews and thinking, "Am I missing something??" Also, you being able to prestige that mine level in You Suck At Parking is just wild haha.
I also saw your reaction to the playtest addition in your video and it made me chuckle.
Great video!
Keep up the great work brother! Guardians of the Galaxy was one of the first games I actually played through on my steam deck! I was a little disappointed but once you get past the first level it's actually a smooth 30 FPS with a good battery life.
Agreed. That first level really pushes the Deck beyond its limits, but once you get past it, it's all smooth sailing from there. Guardians is one of my fondest early gaming experiences on the Deck. It really saddened me to see the status on the Steam Store back on Unsupported.
I stream it to my deck from my pc. I cant stand its controller support however so gonna wait
Since u use a steamdeck i wanted to ask if u need some kind of special version since when you add a game to ur cart it says it doesnt support linux I wanted to ask if it works Thanks.
No special version. The games themselves aren't designed to run on Linux, but Steam when installed on Linux systems uses Proton, which is a comparability layer for Windows applications.
I found your channel while looking to see if this month's humble bundle games ran well on the steam deck. The video helped me out a lot so I have now subscribed!
I'm glad to hear the video helped!
I've only just stumbled upon your videos but these are nice to watch to see if any of the games I'm interested in will perform reasonably on my deck
wow key
These videos perfectly help me decide whether the bundle is worth it for me! Thanks. Also, I gave my code of Yakuza Like a Dragon to a friend becaause I thought I would not play it but now I played Yakuza 0 and really want to play more of the series. Thanks for the giveaway. Cheers!
Like a Dragon is my favorite in the series. I don't usually enjoy JRPGs, but this one was a blast.
Great reviews as always, I like your fair and detailed opinion. I like Yakuza if it is still available.
Hi Deckus Headus
Thanks for your work :)
Great review, man! I never thought to compare Sifu to a souls-like and while I'm not entirely sold on that comparison, I do see why people would call it that. Seems like you liked High On Life a lot more than myself as well! Personally, I think I'd say that most of the humor is out of place and that was the point. It's all quirky and weird. But humor is a really subjective thing too. Despite not placing it in my highest ranking, I think the more I think about (and watch other reviews) the more I feel that Astral Ascent really takes the top spot here for me with this month's bundle. Oh, and Gotham Knights might run on Steam Deck but, dang, I was surprised at the big drop in quality. I double-checked my video to make sure it was in 1080p lol. Not sure I could play the game like that if that's what it actually looks like on the Steam Deck only because it's such a night and day difference compared to running it full out on a dedicated PC. I guess that probably is the cost for a lot of games on the Steam Deck though. Convenience over appearance. Nice work with this one! No worries about putting me in the key giveaway since I already own it.
Thank you always for your feedback. It really means a lot to me. Fair point on Sifu. It has elements of both soulslike and roguelite, but it is so unique that it is very much it's own beast at this point. High on Life was the title that surprised me the most in this bundle. I think it helps that I enjoy watching Rick and Morty. It'll probably be the most divisive game in the bundle. Astral Ascent is a solid game. You can really tell that the devs put a lot of love into it. I've been really burnt out on 2D roguelites lately, but this was refreshing. I am very reluctant to play Gotham Knights on my PC rig, just because I know it will detract from the experience on the Deck. Unfortunately, it's always a tradeoff between graphics and playability for recent big-studio games on Deck. This was the first bundle game where it was really noticeable.
Great reviw of a fun game!
Thanks for this video, wasn't gonna play sifu but looks real fun. Good luck to everyone entering the compo.
Nice review, will have to check it out. :D
Awesome, another choice review channel. Good Luck and great reviews
performance is bad even on a pc, they really need to optimize game
I've been doing the majority of multiplayer on a high-end PC with the settings on high. When I went to the labs for the first time, it was stuttering so bad that I thought it was connection issues. It definitely needs more optimization. I didn't touch on it in the review, but the battery life is bad on deck. I suspect that this would also be greatly improved by optimizing the graphics.
@@DeckHeadGaming thankfully I just use lossless scaling and then Ic an play 165 fps at high settings
You have way, way too few subscribers for the high quality stuff that you put out. I'll make sure to subscribe and like all of them 👌🏻
Thank you very much!
Welcome to the community of Humble Choice reviewers! Looking forward to seeing how we compare in the months to come. This month didn't quite do it for me, but I'm happy to get Plague Tale. I think your review did a good job giving your take on the games and how they ran on the Steam Deck. Don't own one myself but now I have another channel to direct people to when I get asked about Steam Deck. I really liked the high-quality editing in this video as well, which must have taken a lot of work. Great review, man!
@@StealthyshiroeanHumbleReviews that was nice!
Thank you very much! I saw some of your videos in the subreddit and was very impressed! Definitely not the best bundle, but as well as A Plague Tale, I am also enjoying Ghostrunner 2 and Starship Troopers a lot. The rest, I don't really see myself playing again.
Good luck with your channel!
Before I watch the review I just want to say keep up the good work and good job on being so quick! The bundle literally just came out 😂
Thank you very much, I really appreciate it!
I been playing lego 2k and its the only cars game that i really enjoy hahaha, and risk of rain is really good to, but my friends only plays that on "spacewar" xd, good review , you got a new subscriber :D <3
Thanks for the sub! I'm not usually that into racing games either, but Lego 2K Drive has been a blast!
I've been playing Monster Hunter Rise, think I wont skip the choice this time
Monster Hunter Rise is a great game. Plenty of hours of gameplay!
Subbed. Can you review the humble bundle subscription for steam deck user POV? Thanks so much
Humble Choice is the monthly subscription. They changed the name to Choice a while back to show that each title has been carefully picked by their team, kind of like an editor's choice. Unfortunately it just ended up confusing everyone.
Great job, subscribed to your channel, keep it up :) I skipped the previous months, seem like I shouldn't miss this month choice :)
Thanks for the sub! For this month's bundle, I didn't have high expectations going in, but most of the titles were a very pleasant surprise.
This kind of content is exactly what I was looking for. I did not get last month because I was busy with other things. I subscribed to you, hope your channel grows. Wish you the best
Thanks for the sub. I'm glad the video was helpful!
Great video! I was mostly excited for Stray Gods so I'm glad it works well on the Deck.
The deck is a great fit for Stray Gods. I hope you enjoy it!
Keep up the good work, came here from Reddit but subscribed! I haven't had it humble in months due to nothing really appealing to me but a game that I really enjoyed last month was uncharted 4! I'm really considering getting this bundle just on Lego 2K drive alone since I loved the original Lego racers on the n64.
Thanks for the sub! Lego 2K Drive is easily one of the stronger titles in the bundle. Right now the game is for sale on Steam but it's still cheaper to get the bundle. Definitely worth considering!
Informative and concise. Keep up the good work!
could you add in fps in future videos please
That's a great suggestion! I'll make sure to include it from the next video.
