It's GPS based. Built in unit on the Ducati's. It's the DDA (Ducati Data Analyzer) system.

Concordeagle yes sir but the Superleggera V4 in 2-3 years. It’s going to be tough when the R arrives not to pull the trigger. Til then we’ve got a surprise we need to put in the bike in this video. Soon... Can’t wait to face off against one though on the next COTA outing.

I was there just outside the fence (and In the Paddock) filming a commercial for Ride Smart, I think I still have all the footage (or most) from that day. I have some of some of these bike flying by! lol,
How did you run in the motor for the first 1000k or not? Asking cause I didn't get around to putting on the miles on mine to thrash it yet!

The electronics on this 1299 -the way the TC is cutting in without being too obvious to the rider -is such a great leap forward to my 1098r.

i'll be there in august on my 959. maybe i can grab a tow thru one or two corners and learn something until you ride off into the distance lol.
Joseph Absolutely! Come by my paddock. I'm always down to help & hope they repave it before we go. If not there's definitely a few lines that you don't want to take. I'm not complaining or anything. COTA is my heaven & smoother than anything else but it's changed from my 1st time out till now. It's also so wide there's plenty of room for mistakes.

Very nice! glad to see you unleashing the beast where it belongs!.. so what are your thoughts compared to the 1199SL ?
More power everywhere! Honestly wheeling all over the place but still lays enough that's usable to the tire to get away fast. Weight couldn't really feel the difference. It's a little longer wheel base so it's more stable especially under braking but I may have lost some maneuverability thru the esse's but am working with the ride height to fix that. Wheels are noticeably lighter. I could feel the "Slide Control" working when leaned over & on the gas but I need to experiment further to give more accurate feedback there. It overall feels a little easier to manage but harder to hang on lololo!

Thank you sir! Yeah I turn DTC down to 1 on the fly thru turns 7-8 & it was still on most of the time. I need more time to play with Slide control, DTC, & Wheelie control & will post a better video this August @ COTA.

Awesome bike and awesome riding! Level 3 at COTA is for the fastest, most skilled riders/racers in the region yet you pass them without effort. I don't know how you do it man but love the video.

@@ducatidesmo21 most definitely man. Juan from Ducati Austin was telling me the same thing. I was about to reserve my spot with ridesmart for may at COTA but found out I'm about to have knee surgery. In due time though. I followed you on IG is how I found your channel
