Goodbye MoFi. Our LTE Home Internet Setup
This is not an end all be all just what we use and what might also work for you. We do not cover everything in this video and there are many factors that may make this setup not work for you.

Ubifi Rural Internet Service - Sucks Now (It use to be a good option)

4 years of great internet now gone. We have used them and they were always great. Up until the big change they made over to REVGEN. The 33229.mcs APN is what they told everyone to use. The AT&T broadband APN throttles at 10gb which is normal for AT&T Hotspot plans. The price change from $90 to $120 a month is huge and close to other plans out there but with the speed change that came with it it...

I built an E300 with a 24v 500w currie motor and added a 36v 1000w controller the a 36v 14ah lithium, 25-27mph.
Sounds. Really Nice. I Got a Xiaomi scooter 36v. I Think it has a 350watt hub. Can i still use the same 36v batteri if i get a new controller and 500watt hub.
@@chifishingdk2884No, I am sure your old motor is brushed, a hub motor is brushless. You would need a brushless controller.
@@bdrgarage7039 it is a brushless controller. I goes 25kmh. I think its speed limited
@@chifishingdk2884 I would say it would work BUT if it is a 350w motor and a 350w controller, you are limited. I always use twice the wattage controller if I can, or more than the motor all the time.
@@chifishingdk2884 you know, I have I brushless 350w hub motor scooter as well. Sorry, I didn't realize you said your was an original hub motor, anyway, I believe and want to test a better controller on a 350w or even 250w to see if it gains speed. However, it is possible the upper "speedo" controller could be effecting the top speed. I am only beginning to test these.
Suggest people watch the Project Farm video on off-brand tool batteries to get an idea of what some of the variables are...one critical test was short circuit testing...he found batteries that had no short circuit protection and were obviously pretty dangerous to keep in your shop.
thanks for pointing out that frustrating fact and doing it as most of us would have to..
I go by weight in grams of the battery. My question posed to Biswaye is Why does my real LBXR20 Black and Decker 20V 1.5 Amp hour battery weigh 357.4 grams versus the Biswaye 4.0 Amp hour 20V battery LBXR20 that weighs only 341.3 Grams???? I sense a scam here More Amp hours always amounts to more weight just like the 18650, 3.7V Lithium battery cells used in old laptops the weight in grams means everything !!! I studied this as an Electromechanical Engineering Technologist for the Motion Picture Industry for 20 years. Something is wrong !!!
Where can we get that battery and charger?
Did this ever get resolved for you? Am thinking about getting their service, but not if they're sstill having these sorts of issues.
thanks for sharing! You should be able to tackle any hill with that ratio and motor! From my research we need to over volt the motor if we desire a higher top speed without difficult mods of the sprockets... In many states, 20mph is the top allowed speed for our e-scooters so it's a reasonable and safe target mph. Take care
10 minutes to put this together? Took me over an hour 😭
almost cried when i was headed through a 29" door, realized I forgot to measure before buying... slipped right through, with door all the way open @ 180 degrees. get the flat free tires.
did you break the 15 mph barrier in successive high speed passes
Dude totally destroyed a fine scooter woulda been better of gifted to someone that needed it. Horrible hack. Worth the laugh though😂😂😂
@@rowlandpatrick5398 haha, some motors are rpm limited & need a bigger sprocket to achieve higher speeds
@Rowland Patrick I kinda want to do this to my e300 I got for 30 bucks and use it at my job. 40 minutes of run time isn't gonna work though. So. Space efficient battery, power efficient motor, and a variable speed controller, and now you've got a rugged scooter with some actual range. There are definitely better executions than this video though
Time to change the gearing
had been using this bench grinder for about two weeks. The motor gets hot really fast. Home use ok. Not for commercial use.
I wonder if it would help to start running it at a slow speed as soon as it's turned on, and try sometime afterward while it's still running to adjust it to a higher speed, if a higher speed is desired. There's one video I recently saw on RUclips, that claims that it also helps to start rotating the wheels with one finger in the direction that they rotate, before turning the bench grinder on, but I don't know if this will harm the bench grinder in some way. Be sure to pull all of your finger(s) back, before turning the grinder on, if you do this.
0:34 It's called inflation, thank Biden
It's called supply and demand, the invisible hand of the holy market: ie, they charge as much as you'll pay.
What's the slot in the left side for on the base
For sharpening drill bits
Well there 25mins never get back...
Instructions state to use a pistol grip with the single pin pick.....
After I turned mine off, the two wheels kept rotating for two minutes and fifteen seconds. I had it turned on at its maximum speed (3,400 r.p.m.). This was right after I bought it, and ran it for the first or maybe second time.
Looks like you didn't dress the wheels which could be the reason you are getting a bit of vibration and the spark when you shut off.
I wanted to buy one of these but it's so expensive
its on sale now for black friday
any update on this build, wondering how it performs and how much it cost the whole build.
Like the entire did do but welding it to the frame was not helpful as you said 95% of people do not have welders.

estimated cost for all of this?
Not counting the Nerf Foot Balls, I was around $30. I cut the air chamber in half and made a second one.
thanks
When we first got Mofi we were delighted and purchased second one and disconnected from a hard line. we use it for our home in 32327 and the second on our boat in Maine and Florida. Since they sent new chips a few months ago and "new improved service" it has been unacceptable. My wife has spent hours on the phone with customer support and eventually even sent a new SIM card. It tripled the slow speed for a few hours, then back to the very slow speed. We are very frustrated . Now we are stuck with two Mofis and unacceptable and expensive service. Beware UbiFis claims - and don't get locked in!
wow. Just.... o_0 I have a stebel nautilus, thats crafty!
I had Ubifi for 4 years and they where the best until the same problems you are having. I loved Ubifi they suck.
Just bought one... loved it! Better than a wheelbarrow.
I love the thing its the second one that I've owned and I would but a 3rd if I needed it.
Blower pipe outside, birds Nesting yet?
No birds nesting in it. It sits at 45 degree downward angle with some metal screen over it.
I just put mine together today. I had no issues with the build. My only complaint is the MDF board. The edges of the MDF board used for the drawers are completely exposed. If any kind of moisture ever gets in there it'll be ruined. I'm considering applying birch veneer to give it a layer of protection. I'm also swapping out the rails for the drawers with beefier ones that allow the drawers to come out further. Overall, happy with the purchase and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a decent workbench.
It's compact, but I'm having a hard time picking with it due to the length of the picks and when i pick a lock (even with wave rake) the metal to finger pushing is really a pain, even afterwards my skin is red. No good way to hold them, even with the lockpicks tightened to the maximum. Would not recommend (at least for beginners), just get a pick set with longer picks and a good handle.
You nee to rotate the picks further so you are holding the body like a pistol grip.
I'm going to try this weekend
Very good product
I appreciated your video. I've been thinking about purchasing this exact workbench.
Definitely seal the wood with something. It's still holding good and haven't had any complaints other than debris falling through the holes into the top drawers.
There's a fourth measuring option, the shoulder step.
Having the fractions on the dial, is handy for wood botherers.
For $100 you'd think they could at least have put it together and none of the picks in mine seem to work. The knife and combs didn't do anything with any locks that I tried. Looking at a see through clear plastic lock, the comb teeth seem to be too short to push the pins up far enough to clear the cylinder and the rakes can't even open a Master lock that opens easily with one from a cheap Chinese set! I wouldn't recommend this to anyone!
No offence, but I'd say your issues are mostly experience/skill related. Did you consider that if the combs were taller, they wouldn't be able to fit into a lot of keyways? From my understanding, they're mostly intended for smaller format padlock keyways. The rakes are a fairly standard design, and effective, it may just be they aren't very compatible with the master lock you have (based on spacing, steepness, peak heights, etc.) Unfortunate, but not all rakes are suitable for all locks and there's nothing you can do about that. Would be cool if they sold blanks, but you could make your own picks into SSF and attach them for relatively little effort.
Ubifi is horrible now. Service sucks. Do not use under ANY circumstance
Sorry all, life has been crazy over the past few months and I haven't been able to get anything up in a good long while. I switched over to 4GLTEWifi and their service has been great and only $62 a month. I haven't run into any throttling issues with them and I've run over a terrabyte in a month a few times.
@@tumbleweednick9185 and now they are out of business as of 3/15/22
You should check out the Swick. It’s now my go to picks.
If you have complaints about the tools sitting loosely you can just tighten the screws on either side to make them stiffer
I am planning on going to Verizon business plan $99, hope it works better
What’s the spacing on the mounting holes?
The plastic above the hole your running the wires through on the battery box is a access panel just pull it up and u don't have to depin connectors unless ur changing where they are in the clip
Right! I was super tickled when I realized this myself. Good little feature.
It’s the gift that keeps on giving…my noisy neighbors are gonna love it! 😉🤣😂
I’ve had one for 6 months now. The quality of the picks are exceptional. The size is smaller than the keys I have to carry for work and slightly smaller in all dimensions of the “Wave” leatherman tool that also lives in my pocket. Best to worst: The 2 picks are excellent and the learning curve with using them wasn’t terrible. Rakes were very similar to the ones I gravitate to anyway. Door bypass tools probably the most used tool I’ve used yet. Simple and well built. The expansion pack top of key way tension tools very clever design, excellent to use top or bottom of key way. Jigglers , just average quality, some seem pointless for me to have, slightly more flexible than I like. Wafer picks same excellent quality as the first picks never used them. Knife hard to use in this configuration Shim and lock decoder could be better steel Yale bypass tool, haven’t used Combs good quality managed to get caught in every lock I’ve tried using them in. Had to cut lock apart to get them out whole. Washers... not enough of them after 3 months in my pocket tools flop around Handle tools don’t lock at 90 deg or at 180 open leaving tools feeling too short to be very effective in most conditions. It would be nice if the offered “blanks” to make our own favorite and or custom picks. A dimple pick and a cam lock to keep tools from turning in your hand would also be nice.
This written review is way better than the video!
