@@KatieCosmoArt haha, yes! I need to play with those markers a little more. I think most of the reason I was getting annoyed with that box was because everything went wrong that day. I even fell down steps carrying couch cousins and landed face first in the rocks --funny enough not hurt because the cushions broke my fall. 🤣🤣 But I need to give those markers another try. Especially using them as watercolors.

@@lizzelloart aww 😢 I think sometimes using them can be disheartening cause used on their own I think they are pretty much glorified felt tips, but in combination with the blender pen you can get as well as water and other supplies, they are pretty useful I think 😊

Thanks for watching! I'm I the UK so I imagine things are very different for us, but I can tell you my experience and opinions on the education route. I have a degree in Illustratation and while I absolutely loved doing it and it suited me best, I would say in the real world employers are looking for a graphic design degree more, I think it suggests more technical skills. I was mainly looking for a graphic design role though as that is what there is most of here. For pattern design I imagine they would value the art and creative side as well as the technical side, so I'd say do both if you can. That's just my opinion though, I'm not exactly sure what would be most helpful for you! Maybe try and contact some employers and get their opinion on what they look for when hiring. I was really lucky to get a position designing personalised gifts, my company really value the illustration side of my skills as well as my technical skills 😊

Hi, thank you and thanks for watching! I just arrange them on an app like Canva, and then print them on my home printer on an a4 sheet and cut them up. I tend to use a photo quality paper but nothing fancy at all.

I want them even more now 😂 will definately have to get some. The big art shop near me had the senneliers in singles so I chose a few new colours 😂

Thanks Katie, yes I thought the turquoise one felt much softer and cremy than the others! That's a good idea to use them as final touches, I imagine it's less messy that way too! I definately enjoyed using them, I've done my own piece of art since and really liked the result so I think I'll be using them more often I my work 😊

My scalpel is a sizzix one, I got it from hobbycraft but I think it was on clearance at the time. Its surely nothing compared to the trust finger cutter though! 😂

Haha maybe the sizzix scalpel will enjoy cutting my fingers too.
