Do many fire departments in the US outside of Chicago area use starboard side green lights?
Its more of an Illinois tradition that started in the city during the 60s and spread throughout the suburbs in the years that followed. Some departments in TX & SC I know also run greens but not for reasons relating that of Illinois from what I know.

Yeah Ive never been prior to this catch so I got confused and thought it was the frontline squad since they look so alike. Everything’s been corrected now. Thanks for pointing that out.
@@IllinoisEmergencyPhotography yeah no problem, I don’t know why they have two squads that are only a year apart lol. The main difference is the rim color, the frontline has black rims and the spare/reserve has chrome/silver or whatever you call it
