I was 10 when I watched this, stayed up late. watching this 40 years later made me cry when Parks saved that last goal. What a time to be a football fan in those late 1970s early 1980s, when British football really ruled Europe...

It was a young black lad who missed that penalty. The Spurs fans singing his name when he could have cost Spurs the cup. They let the player know it wasn’t his fault. We see this recently when Bukayo Saka played at Spurs after his penalty miss in the Euros. He was clapped and cheered. And he’s an Arsenal player.
