I was using the Sony a7cii (ILCE7CM2B) with the Sony 20-70 F4 (SEL2070G). I had it mounted on a Ulanzi Zero Y tripod. For the swinging shot, I had the Insta360 X3 camera in Bullet Time mode using the Insta360 Bullet Time Cord accessory.

Yeah, the weather was perfect!

I've tried the 114cm (~45 inches) selfie stick and although it's secure, it definitely did wobble (footage is very usable and the wobbles are quite minor). However, I wouldn't recommend it for prolonged rides but short rides here and there should be okay. The night time shot at 0:04 shows the Insta360 with the selfie stick completely extended. I'd probably recommend a secondary measure of securing the camera to be 100% confident in it but that may hinder the 360 abilities.

This is what Insta360 recommends on their website FYI: If mounting the camera directly to the Heavy Duty Clamp Mount, maximum speed should not exceed 80km/h on smooth roads, or 40km/h when going off-road. When I had the selfie stick attached I was going 50km/h (~30mph) on smooth road which was a little wobbly.

Yeah, I had tested it prior to making this video (to double check that it wasn't my mistake the first time my camera had dropped). I screwed it as tight as it could go, confirmed that it did not wobble and after x minutes it became loose. I guess another callout here is that there is no feedback system which indicates whether or not it is 'tightened' to confirm 100%. Given the bulk of comments re tightening it properly, I'm thinking of recording a Part 2 of this video to show a continuous video (sped up of course) to show the loosening over time. I will let you know once I've got this video up and running. It could be a defect in my model (perhaps a QC issue?), but I have noted there was another RUclipsr (Ralph Mayhew Photography) who had found the same flaw ruclips.net/video/kKUI_YO4l04/видео.html with the tripod so I wouldn't say it's an isolated incident. Thanks for your contribution and would be good to hear if you've had similar issues once you procure one for yourself.

@@Hentacular If it is loosening over time while not being moved then something must be bending or compressing. It doesn't seem likely that the tightening knob would be _turning_ while the tripod is being used. The tightening knob certainly may be backing out while the tripod is being used, carried, adjusted, etc. If this loosening problem happens with every use then it should be easy to document. Make a mark on the knob and see if the mark moves over time.

I had a real good looking at this museum they call teamlab 😎

I used the Insta360 Backpack mount. However it is quite bulky and fidgety to setup. However, I've also had success anchoring a selfie stick in my bag and 'tightening' it in place with your zippers and strategically placing things around the base of the stick.

I regret not taking more shots in teamlab with my Insta360 cause it just looks so magical. Just note that a lot of different tourist attractions ban selfie sticks (e.g.Teamlab, Disneyland) and I'd imagine a lot of temples ban it as well which makes it harder to use the insta360. However, if you search up "Bruno Mars Japan Promo" there's a cool video about 1 minute long which has some pretty creative Insta360 shots for those quick cut travel videos.

I think it's with the power of Disney magic. In all seriousness there's a video by @Guide2WDW which explains it pretty well. But in summary, there's 3 tricks combined: 1) Pepper's Ghost Effect (To create the holo beast figure) 2) Remote Trap Door to bring the Prince out of the ground 3) The lighting - the background goes dark which keeps the animatronic hidden as it comes out of the ground.
