Insta360 Invisible Dive Case Review (HONEST) 2024
In this video, I review the Insta360 X3 Dive Case. Please note that I am not using the latest and greatest Insta360 X4, instead I am using the X3.
I gained quite a lot of insights within my two scuba dives using the X3 and I plan to share it all the details. I was extremely optimistic watching the Invisible Dive Case showcase reels and very excited to film underwater with a 360 camera for the first time. The findings may surprise you!
Get home safely.

The Best Way to Backup Camera Files While Traveling
Просмотров 11514 дней назад
In this video, I share my favourite way of backing up camera files from an SD card. It's a highly portable, quick and easy method which is what I'm looking for in pursuit of an easy travelling experience. This method does not require a laptop. It is friendly with a cloud backup solution but I do not walk you through that in this video.
Typhoon Season at BORACAY 🇵🇭 (Compilation)
Просмотров 10921 день назад
Hey all, I didn't shoot with cinematic in mind but I did shoot more intentionally. I've always loved watching short cinematics of other countries and thought I'd make an attempt myself. The challenging thing about Boracay is that it was Typhoon Season so the time I had to shoot was limited as there was always rains around the corner waiting to unexpectedly fall. There was also challenge in that...

Hahaha ”this video was sponsored by me” 😂😂😂😂
Looks like it'll be like that for a while 😅
@ if i ever decide to make a video i would thank myself as well as a sponsor and definitely thank you as inspiration 😂
Interesting. Keep going 😀
Thank you for the encouragement, will do 😎
I'm aussie with same camera maybe i should cop this lense too but might get a cheaper one instead
I bought this, had no idea how to use it! Thank you for the video!
No worries, glad I could help 😎
legendary pull video
legendary video? I'll take it 😬
Oh dear 😢sounds like I waste money to buy that wind muff
😞 that was how I felt too after testing it out... I've got the other sticky pads and wind muff 'foam pieces' just dormant in my drawer now...
@ oh dear!! Hope they improve that next time
I think this is one of those products with way too many constraints/limitations to make an effective product. The hardest part would be to keep it compact so that it doesn't appear in the 360 stitching. The best solution is to have an internal wind muff like their Insta360 Ace2Pro but that innovation does not yet exist for the 360 line. Or alternatively, you can get an external microphone and use the Insta360 mic adapter.
That must have been one bad burger 🤢 or you are just getting older and getting a more refined palate 😜
I'm still perfectly content with McDonald's so I'm going to have to say it was the burger.
On your camera change your focus areas to SPOT, this will allow to select smaller objects you want to track. Also the camera has a Bird mode that will help it track it better as well. Option 3 in the menu, Face/Eye AF > Face/ Eye Subject you can choose between human, animal or bird. It made a world of difference to me.
Thanks, I have been using the Bird Eye AF mode and it works amazing! The only issue I've had is sometimes the bird goes behind some twigs and it loses focus. However, the SPOT focus area is a game changer! Don't know why I didn't think of that before 😃 Thanks!!
@Hentacular The spot focus is a game changer, I messed up so many pictures not knowing when to use it, I thought one mode would work for everything but no.
@@JPMNRB Will head out to the field and test it out. Cheers mate!
@@Hentacular cheers
Nice review. I just got the same lenses and I’m a little struggling too, but it’s about time
Yeah there's quite a learning curve when you're looking for things at 200mm 😅. If you haven't already, I've found that a different tripod helps a LOT, especially a video head or a gimbal head.
I had the opportunity today and yes, is an amazing lens, I also have the 100-400GM but I was looking for more reach and it works.
@@papolini109 Oooh I'm so jealous! Just out of curiosity, if you had to pick the 200-600 OR the 100-400GM which would you go with?
Hitting someone else is ABSOLUTELY A PRO. Hitting yourself, not so much. Thanks!
Great food! Love Singapore. 🇸🇬
Sorry I missed this comment but - I know right! Such an awesome place to stay with amazing sights and amazing food. Am looking to revisit Singapore again in the near future :)
this is so fun, love it! Great focus work there, haha
Hello again and thank you so much I appreciate it! I am going to be starting a wildlife photography/videography adventures series once a month so stay tuned! 😎
oh i love it, very fun review!
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it ☺️
Wow hope the wedding didn’t get impacted 😮
😅
hello, is there a 2× teleconverter?
Nope, just the 200-600. I don't intend on getting a 2x teleconverter as I find the 600mm is enough each for me at the moment (wherever I've used it in AU)
Great transitions and effects 👏 😊
Thanks
How long were you in Singapore?
Two nights in total, but really like one whole day... Arrived late on one night, spent one whole day (bulk of the video) and we departed at like 7AM (so it was off to the airport at like 3AM) the next day.
So did you delay the plane and take the power bank out?
They removed our luggage like 10 minutes before boarding and we took the power bank out and they loaded it back in. My expectations were far exceeded, especially with this being a scoot / budget Airline.
Any restrictions you encountered with regard to the drone?
None what so ever. Fly safe!
@@Hentacular so the security there won’t ask? Did you fly from a spot away from the crowd then?
I flew it away from people to not startle them but shortly after the drone was right next to the bridge and people/security ignored it. I have a vlog at bana hills where you can see how close to the hand bridge I got to. It was very lax there.
@@Hentacular thank you so much. One last question- did you get any permit, license to enter with drone? Mine is a nano one
@GypsyEscape nope. I've got the DJI Mini 3 Pro.
Thanks mate this is what I needed to decide between Sigma 24-70mm f2.8 ii and Sony 20-70mm f4 g for a travel lens. This is the winner. I am giving up the slightly better bokeh and low light competency in f2.8 for portability, focus breathing correction and focus tracking ability. Also nice Aussie accent.
Thanks and no worries cobber. I bought this lens on a whim and now it's my most used lens by far - can't go wrong with it (unless you're shooting in super dark environments that is haha).
Hi bro.. nice video.. anyway, any issue if bring drone go through Danang Airport? I heard few cases drone are not allowed and got confiscated.. any idea about this? Because i plan to bring drone during my visitation to Danang soon.. tq
Hey mate, when I went I kept it in my carry on and had no issues with all airports I landed at including Da Nang.
Good review brother! Subbed, happy 200!
Thanks mate! Appreciate it, I've been waiting for this all day 😁
Do you have enought IQ to tight clamping screw ????
Awesome footage, is this cropped with cinematic mode?
Nope, it's in 4k (3840 x 2160)... Now that you mention it, I really should have cropped it 😅
I agree. I got this lens back in May. Love the versatility of it. Can’t wait to take it back to Japan. ⭐️
Mine has been tried and tested in two Japan trips! Such a great lens range with the quality, focal range and portability!
Ha loved the far right and far left 😂
Arashiyama is class. Can highly recommend just renting a bike in Kyoto and riding out there. How are you liking your Sony 20-70 btw? are you using it a lot
Agree 100% one of my most fond memories is riding a bike through Kyoto. I'm actually in Japan (Nikko) at the moment and I'm still loving the 20-70. It's basically on my lens 90% of the time. Are you thinking of picking one up? 😋
こんにちは、私はインドから来ました。日本を訪れたいと思っています。友達になってくれますか?
Does it have a problem holding firm with a same 45 degree angle when the insta on a stick? Specially on the high angle of the back just like the gta view?
It's able to hold it at 45 degree on the insta360 selfie stick but it will wobble so I wouldn't recommend setting it up like this for a prolonged period.
Absolutely brilliant! Im not sure why people are like “prime lenses are best for vlogging” when theyre awful for it. You need the versatility of zoom lenses
💯 I find it so limiting using a prime for vlogging. I know people say it forces you to get creative and 'zoom with your legs' but I find that when you vlog a holiday or trip the important thing is to enjoy the trip rather than create a video so the versatility is a must.
😂😂 loved the shoulder spider
I didn't 🥴
Nico Lodge
Yes
You got me laughing but ultimately contemplating on getting this beast of a lens! Thank you 😂
You won't go wrong with this lens my friend! But I guess that can be said with a lot of different lens too 😅
Omg You guys look so adorable in a kimono ❤
Kawaii!
Thank you for the video. It is very informative and well-made. Just ordered the 20-70mm yesterday!
Thanks mate! Appreciate the feedback and let me know how you go with the 20-70mm! You won't regret it 😋
Yep i went there i keot on screaning i cried after the ride but i still enjoyed it ❤
Glad you enjoyed it :)
This is a really nice casual format for a review, especially from a small channel :)
Thanks mate! Appreciate the comment 😎
Whew! Good thing the snake didn’t bite you! Love the sense or adventure, humor, interaction, and fresh “beginner perspective.” Subbed!
Thanks! Really appreciate the kind words ☺️ There are many more snakes and adventures ahead I'm sure. 🤙
Have you tried converting such a video to Gaussian Splat (3D) using PostShot ? It's free.

How did you fix it
I fixed it using the Insta360 Motorcycle Kit. I have a review video of it on my channel if you're interested 😎
@@Hentacular thanks!
@@Illusionary_INTJ Glad I could help
What kinda of camera set up did you use at the shrine?
I was using the Sony a7cii (ILCE7CM2B) with the Sony 20-70 F4 (SEL2070G). I had it mounted on a Ulanzi Zero Y tripod. For the swinging shot, I had the Insta360 X3 camera in Bullet Time mode using the Insta360 Bullet Time Cord accessory.
so cool! i will visit next month
