Looks like a nice table. Just curious if you have played the Pinball Arcade version of the table and how you feel it compares to the real thing?
Cheers! I definitely got the Pinball Arcade version as soon as it came out. Doctor Who is one of my all time favourite pinballs. I wish I still had mine! One day I'll get another. As for how it compares to the real thing, it is pretty accurate I think. They've got the game set up easy, where the ESCAPE targets have memory between balls and you collect your selected Doctor at the end of each ball. On my small phone screen I find it a lot harder to hit the 'H' lane and hit 'O' loops. The sweet spot is fairly subtle and hard to see on a small screen. I am yet to try it on iPad. The absolute best part about Doctor Who, hands down, are the Sonic Booms. Hit 10 of those 'O' loops to start a Sonic Boom W-H-O combo for the best sound effects ever! Make sure you have Doctor 3 selected to give yourself extra time to complete the W-H-O combo. I can do it all day on the real thing but the Pinball Arcade version is much tougher. But, as I said, could just be the small screen. I also find the video mode a bit strange on mobile. Tapping one or two fingers isn't as good as using buttons for the short/long jumps and it seemed a bit stuttery. I know the video modes levels pretty well at this point but I've been struggling with them because of the controls.
Someones been practicing ;-) rd
Haha! Terrible game. I realise now that I didn't even play any modes. Way to show off the game Josh!
