Welcome to the Death Happens Podcast - an Insiders Guide to Dying
So glad you’re back! Loved this💗
Yayyyy! Missed this podcast so much ❤
Do you have an email for the podcast? I would like to contact. I am an End-Of-Life Doula, Chaplain, Massage Therapist, and volunteering/working with those at the end-of-life since 1987. AIDS pulled me in, Love kept me.
This was such an important and insightful episode, maybe my favourite one yet. Thank you for talking about this ❤
Mr. BURNS 😂😂😂 Penny😂😂😂❤
Thank you for discussing this very important topic. I really hope to see the day that MAID becomes federally legal. ❤
Same!!!
I’d like to ask a question. Penny mentioned the mother shouldn’t have had to get that paperwork to prove a DNR and they should have just taken her word right then and there. To me, that could be detrimental if the person giving the orders has malice intention and gives the opposite order than what the orders actual state. Does that happen a lot? Both ways can be detrimental, if the person actually has a DNR and gets stabilized, or if they don’t have a DNR and don’t get the help to be stabilized. I’m just trying to understand your stance on that one, or if I’m misunderstanding, or don’t have all the information. Thanks!
Since Covid there have been many sudden deaths, leaving families in shock and incomprehension, particularly young cardiac events. How would you consider support in this instance?
