British Airways 747-400 | London Heathrow to San Francisco | Full Flight 15/05/2018
Highlights from my flight on British Airways BA285 to San Francisco filmed on 15th May 2018.
Overall this was an excellent flight. We left slightly behind schedule but arrived early into SFO. Very smooth flying conditions, and excellent service from the cabin crew and the flight crew. I even got a cockpit visit at the end of the flight. British Airways has an excellent entertainment system, very responsive and with a truly huge amount of content. We were served two meals on the flights and there were plenty of drinks offered. The food was of reasonable quality, not the best but perfectly acceptable.
All for a very reasonable price of £326 return from Edinburgh.

Terrible Flight Service | Eastern Airways (Flybe) Embraer E170 | Sumburgh to Edinburgh | Full Flight
Просмотров 11 тыс.6 лет назад
Highlights from my flight on one of the last operated services by Eastern Airways to Edinburgh on the Shetland-Edinburgh route. Filmed on 30th December 2017. Flybe (operating with Eastern Airways) briefly went into competition with Loganair on the Northern Isles routes following there separation last summer. Predictably on such a low demand route this only lasted a few months before Flybe pulle...

Highlights from my flight Loganair LM353 from Edinburgh to Sumburgh. Filmed on 23rd December 2017. This was my first flight with Loganair since they ended their franchise with Flybe and went into competition with them. A competition they have won as Flybe have announced they are pulling out of the route from 6th January 2018. Loganair have made huge improvements since their separation from Flyb...
First Ever 737 Max Landing Into Scotland | Edinburgh Airport
Просмотров 1,8 тыс.7 лет назад
While at work this afternoon I happened to glance at Flightradar24 and notice that Norwegian's new 737-Max 8 was heading for Edinburgh Airport. I was able to take my break and film it landing for the terminal window. I believe it is the first time a 737 Max has touched down in Scotland. (I'm willing to be corrected if I am wrong). Sorry the camera is so shaky, it was quite an impromptu video. A...

Highlights from my flight on EasyJet EZY6931 from Edinburgh to Hamburg. Filmed on 16th February 2017. Unfortunately there was a stag party a few rows in front of me therefore, THIS FEATURE FEATURES SOME OFFENSIVE LANGUAGE. If you are the type of person to be offended by swear words then please do not watch. All in all it was a very enjoyable flight. Slight delay to departure but we made it up i...
Loganair Saab 340 | Edinburgh to Sumburgh (Shetland Islands) | Full Flight During Storm Barbara
Просмотров 23 тыс.8 лет назад
This is my first video on this new channel but there will hopefully be lots more to come! Highlights of my flight on Loganair Be6993 from Edinburgh to Sumburgh in the Shetland Islands. Filmed on 23/12/16 during Storm Barbara. A very bumpy and exciting flight so forgive the camera shaking, I did my best! Loganair are perhaps one of my least favourite airlines. They have extortionate prices, lots...
That was pretty boring!
Did those two not shut up for the entire flight?
Great video mate!
ang galing buti pde mo ivideo ito....=)
Great video!!
I noticed that the weather throughout the flight was gloomy

Thank you for showing me where Ann Cleeves' characters landed in her Shetland series.
If you are going to use your phone, hold it horizontal , it fills the screen!
No full screen option??
Nice video - shame about the music!
I love the 747-400
Jay Deshpande it is a beautiful aircraft!
I just saw G-CIVI in Dallas!
don't suppose u would know the plane registration you were on ?
Andy Sharp It was G-CIVI
Eastern Airways use to, or possibly still, operate some routes for BA City Flyer out of London City Airport.
Great video 👍🏿❤️
I can't believe it is this airlines SOP to disarm the cabin doors whilst they are still taxiing in to the parking stand
A Darbs They certainly had some “interesting” procedures.
A lot of airlines do this. It's a normal procedure which some airlines do. Every airline is different. There's nothing unusual about it.
PIGGISH
Do you realise that flight delays happen.Just because It its delayed 60 minutes dosent mean it was a TERRIBLE! experience. If your BA flight was delayed by 60 minutes you would be ok with it but because Flybe is lowcost you think the experience is terrible. Stop being so negative 😡😡
Irish Aviation As someone who works in aviation of course I realise flight delays happen. If you’d taken the time to read the description you’d have understood that the flight was terrible mainly due to the behaviour of the crew. I have nothing against Flybe and indeed, I have flown with them many times. This was the first time I’d flown with Eastern Airways though. I’m not anti lowcost, Ryanair is my favourite airline.
Ryanair is your favourite airline, well that says it all then!!!!
@@loobyloutubelube Ryanair is a fantastic airline. Modern aircraft, endless route options, cheap regular flights, Highly punctual. Costs based on what you buy. Give me Ryan air over BA any day.
Loganair is great, flybe never had a chance when they went into competition with them
Great video just to say it’s called the queens ferry crossing. Hopefully you liked my national airline
James Patterson Glad you enjoyed the video. I know the road bridge on the left is the Queens Ferry Crossing. I was referring to all the bridges together.
Great video mate! Nice channel! 5ubscribed
love it
Aviator Alex thanks!
360p? What is this madness?
Well he/she is only filming with his/her phone.
Was the flight terrible or the board's service was terrible?
Daniel Liu The service, the flight itself was fine apart from being delayed
Never realised how bad the service was! Certainly weren’t punctual in general but it didn’t help that the 170 was unable to master the Shetland weather (can’t wait to see what replaces the saabs) it was a good idea trying to use the people prefer jet aircraft tactic but it clearly didn’t work I’d love to see a jet service come back and I do miss being woken up at 8:05am by the roar of the jet engine. Great to see the trip report :)
Northern Aviation I heard from a Loganair pilot friend that they are looking to replace the Saab’s with ATRs.
Griffin Aviation I also heard the ATR 42 will be replacing the saabs Eastern’s 72 has been proving it can handle the winds up here and the 42 is the perfect size to replace them, only time will tell but long live the saabs 😂
Northern Aviation I’ll certainly always have a soft spot for the Saab’s. Great aircraft!
Is there any real alternative to ATR's they are afaik the only turboprops in this size range (50px) currently being made. Are there any in 35px range? Alt would be eg emb135/145 but i doubt the economics of these on quite short sectors? Been happy with the 340's but much prefer the 2000.
I love ATR'S...in fact the old ones more than the newer -500 or -600's. Worked on them as cabin crew for 10 years in Ireland based on the west coast - our stormy windy weather would be similar - they give you a rough ride in the storms, but they can handle pretty much anything you throw at them....and it's all good fun 😁
One of many reasons why Loganair are simply number #1 for regional flights in Scotland.

Wow, I'd find it extremely disrespectful for flight crews not to great passengers.
Yeah, I’ve never seen anything like it!
That's a legacy thought when air travel was for the privileged few. Does the guard on the train welcome you onboard, the bus driver when you board the No.6 bus to Puddlesworth?
Great video! What a lovely little aircraft - as a planespotter in Guernsey I'm looking forward to seeing Loganair operate a direct route to Glasgow this Summer! Big thumbs up and I subbed - sub back? ;-)
Dominichi's Planespotting thanks for watching, will do!
flew to Sumburgh from Edinburgh last year on business - was fine but on way back gale force storms were really bad. I personally hate flying usually but the take off into the storm was fantastic - hadn't had so much fun in ages as plane just lifted straight off. Got to Edinburgh and the normal jets couldn't land but our little turboprop just flew in Shame I was stuck there for 12 hours before ryan air could get me to stansted Shetland is great - lovely friendly people
Video would be perfect if there included some cabin views, service, seats, layout. And so on.
Fantastic video! I liked it a lot! The 737 MAX is a beautiful aircraft. I bet you were super happy when you saw it was coming into Edinburgh on Flightradar24.
Thanks SEQ Spotting and Travels I certainly was, it made my day!!
nice video
Ho hum, just another day at the office for those guys. Its windy there ALL the time. The plane I passengered in had 6-bladed props, didn't need full throttle to take of in a stiff (40 ? mph) head wind, climbed rapidly & easily.
Looks like a bumpy ride, but incredibly good landing in such horrid conditions. How was the interior of the 340? All of Loganair`s Saab 340`s went through a 3.5 million pound refit about 11 months ago. Considering they are all between 28 or 30 years old, they still work them hard.
Yeah they're hard working machines, but perfectly suited to that sort of environment. The interior was a big improvement, much nicer then they used to be!
I'll feedback about my experience of Loganair April 2017. They are pricey, but with oil workers to fly around, can't argue. Return flight B'ham - Shetland return inc 1 check in bag £250+. (Return flight to Thailand currently £580.)
tdbsnr very pricey. I have literally flown to New York from Edinburgh for cheaper than it has cost me to fly to Shetland
Nice video, thanks! Do Loganair check all cabin bags in a sizer?
Ken Williams you are allowed 1 cabin bag but it is quite small. Nothing bigger than a rucksack really as it has to fit in the overhead bins or under the seat.
They only check if in doubt.
Great video, was the first landing was aborted?.
Njugglesvatn no, we just circled a little before making the final approach.
Great video. Shame about the noisey passengers
Thanks Andy. Unfortunately, noisy passengers can't be helped, it was a good flight though.
wwwwwww🥐
good video! nice landing in this condition , congratulations for the crew, i like the Saab 340 and 2000 !:)
Thanks Xavier. Yes it was a very talented crew flying that day!
How long was airtime?
We had a strong tail wind so it was only 1 hour and 2 minutes.
