AIRPODS MIC AND SPEAKERS DO WORK WITH ZOOM ON PC WINDOWS 10
Does it sound good though?
I did this test inside being concerned for background noise and I found the wireless hide more background noises. So best sound of your voice aside there is that aspect. I'm using the pods as it gets rid of most the noise my kids make. I can see that being an issue outside potentially depending on where you are. So for me being inside or out... that'd be the biggest variable. But I don't have a quiet lake to hit up.
Thanks for the comment - that is interesting. One of the advantages to the airpods is that each one has a mic, so it can pick the quietist side to use to help with background noise. I've been thinking about doing a noise test with some high end headsets to see what works the best. Stay tuned!
Yeah I got the same results. I'm not sure why the microphone sucks on the airpods compared to the wired earbuds
It has to do with the way Bluetooth profiles work - while audio sounds great for streaming, when it goes into voice mode the quality suffers greatly. It is crazy that in 2020 this is still a problem, even with $150+ devices. Thanks for watching!
