I'm currently writing my thesis on how the shorter trend cycle can affect our identities and went to RUclips to search for some inspiration (aka I needed a break but I didn't deserve a break yet). I am so glad I clicked on your video! You are very well spoken and the points you bring up are very fresh and I like that you are not just repeating what everyone else is saying. The video is formatted in a nice way and everything you say was interesting. My favourite thing that was mentioned was how people use micro trends or "cores" as a way of belonging and finding community. A micro trend that I partook in was the aged brown leather pattern. I got a bag and a jacket with that aged effect. I still use and like them which I think is because I choose designs that I actually like and could incorporate. For example I love baguette bags so I bought a baguette bag in that pattern!

This video is the only one I enjoyed at the moment and I realised it is because you are actually talking about fashion 😊 HAS DRIES LEFT DRIES VAN NOTEN? I’ve left the high fashion space a long time ago due to some major life changes. But for a long time he was my favourite designer. His shoes and dresses were / are so amazing. A combination of practical daily wear with outlandish flair. I love love his designs so much. I love BTS so because of Jin my eyes were directed towards Gucci who has a new creative director? Because I love Tom Ford designs for Gucci so much, I love how the current creative director seems to have gone more in that direction now. So that’s my bias take on that.
