Bob was a huge asset to professional wrestling. Bob was the guy who taught most of the actors how to do all of the moves and choreography. Bob was the real deal.
You pencilneck geeks!
Fabulous hulk hogan pre juice
That Pete Peterson was a very unprofessional interviewer. Also, very rude to conduct an interview when a match was about to start.
both looked awful 😅
Hacksaw 😂😂😂
To think that in just about 4 years after this fight, Hogan would become the biggest wrestler in the world is incredible.
None of Hogan's handicap matches were any good. You had a green and lumbering muscleman throwing around guys who couldn't work. Every bout he had was the same.
11:36 Patterson sounds like ronny garvin wtf
Hogan should have beaten Mascara in 2 minutes. This was an extended squash match, which always sucks.
Freddie was no small.man
Hogan utterly sucked in the ring. Even during his hay day in the mid 80s his in-ring work never changed from what you see here. Just polished up his look w/a tan and some baby oil, turned him into a Face, and put the whole machine behind him.... but he always sucked in the ring. The bare minimum.
All hogan themes was amazing. My favorite wrestler of all time. Kudos to all the hulkamaniacs all over the world
Hulk was 19 here
I was 10 months old 😂
Jim early years or green years..
What’s with the lgbtq cap Hulk’s wearing???
Pat Patterson made him wear it 😂
"The patented 'Hogan Hammer'" OMG it's a clothesline, like Hulk's other highly technical finisher: the Leg Drop. 🤣
Both had yet to find their patriotism.
Pat Patterson is a Transvestite !
Linda knows all about Hogans Hammer....
I Remember When "The Immortal" Hulk Hogan Won The WWF World Heavyweight Championship From The Iron Sheik On January 23 1984 In Madison Square Garden.
Creepy Patterson undressing Backlund with his eyes.
80's
This shows you how tall Hogan really was in his youth. He towers over Hacksaw here.
Blassie was the best. The way he turns around when announced with that huge fake sh!t eating grin on his face expecting the adoration of the crowd then gives a scoff and turns it to a menacing scowl when he hears the booing & hissing. Every time hes announced it’s the same routine, with as much enthusiasm and kayfabe as the 1st time. This late 70’s era with Blassie, The Grand Wizard and Cap’n Lou were the best. I guess you can throw Arnold Skaaland in there too if you feel you have to 👎🏻
I’ll tell you something there, Charlie Brown…
Thunderlips!! In the flesh baby!!
It's curious to see Hogan in his New Japan attire in the United States
Good they let Tony Henchclife do the ring announcement! 😂
Hogan invented the russian sickle finisher😅
Hogan looks a little doughy
Hogan at his tallest about 6 ft 6 to 6 ft 7. Much shorter as the years went by
Fred Marzino made Frank Williams look like Lou Thesz
All the Hulk Hogan haters talk nonsense
It's funny that wrestling back then was a bit safer than it became. Look at the ending clothesline. It was a joke. They became faster and much more violent, with wrestlers taking far bigger risks and impacts on their bodies for the sake of their art.
It's interesting how differently you see things at different ages. I loved wrestling as a kid in the early/mid 80s. Now I look at it and it's like, "What was I thinking?" Of course, as a kid you think it's all real, so the 'good guys' are like heroes.
Agree, why start this interview with Bob zzzzzz…..when it was match time😂
Hey look its Fat Hogan
Triple h is smiling that he gets to wrestle his childhood hero! Triple H didn't mind losing the title to hogan because vince knew hogan was money and he understands its good for business
HAKSAW JIM GUGGAN. AWSOME. GUI.
HOOOOOOO. USA USA. JIM DUGGAN. GUI.
Blassie basically told Backlund, Get outta here, you pencil-neck geek!
Hogan didn’t have great mic skills yet. And the leg drop was definitely a better choice than that weak clothesline
My two all time favorite male wrestlers in the ring together. What an amazing sight.
Was that Gary Michael Cappetta as ring announcer?
Yes
So boring
Why would they ever put backland out there with hogan at that time. He had zero charisma and was brutal on the mic. Just made you want Backland to go away.
Such charisma from Backlund... lol. I loved his heel run. Should have lasted longer.
Where's the board?
