I’ve had Bandolero I’ve had Byron and Atabay and not one of them. Cigars is worth the money not when I can find something for the $12-$15 range. That’ll knock my socks off just as much don’t get me wrong they are great Cigars though I’m not hating at all that price range is crazy.
They're definitely not regular cigars in my rotation. But I do feel there's more to them than most any cigar in that 12-15 range. Is it 3x as good? Probably not. But I feel they're worth picking up occasionally.
@@CigarCarpenter yea I won’t lie I do on occasion too lol like I said damn fine smokes but my all time favorite is 15$ range for sure. Peace man dig your videos!

What a great review Mike. Listening to your tasting notes made me hungry and eager to try this. 8” had to be an investment in time, kind of wished you had your Unbanded driveway background to see it go from day to night on that big boy. Cashew bready notes are 🔥to me

Sounds like a lot of nice flavors going on . I love smokes that have sunflower seed notes going on . The montecristo nicaraguan by AJ has a ton of sunflower seeds for me along with smooth pepper .

@jtaylor9990 very different. I'm not a huge fan, but I haven't given them a fair shot. As far as the 80RG Asylum goes, I don't think I would ever willingly purchase that cigar. I rarely enjoy 60RG cigars. Maybe I will try it sometime. But unlikely.
I do not understand the love for the joya de Nicaragua Connecticut CT. I tried to like them but just no flavor and couldn’t get into them.

Never had the champagne gonna have to snag one just to try iy out . Perdomo for me is like you said enjoyable but not great . Construction and consistency is on point though.
It's worth trying. I can't think of a BAD Perdomo. Can't think of a particularly interesting one either. But they're always decent.

I've heard of people having better experiences than I did. I had picked this up shortly after it dropped. It may have been rushed to shops and needed some time. I will re-visit it eventually. At launch, they were not good.
I appreciate the honestly. I've bin smoking for a short time and enjoy robust maduros mostly. But what I see to much of on YT cigar channels is people bashing people for what they smoke or like talking down to people. My go to are Don Carlos blend from fuente mostly cuz they are easy to find and don't break the bank. I think everyone's pallet is unique and alot of reviews should try to keep that in mind more frequently. **cough cough** (masteryourash) lol dorks ;-P
Lol. Yeah, even if a cigar isn't really for me, I try to state who I think it's for. I've rarely said,"This is a bad cigar."
To my palate the judge tasted like a ginger bread cookie that had been dropped in mud. I will have to revisit it
A lot of fresh My Father's are a bit muddy. Let er marinate for a bit. Might still not be for you. But it might. Who knows.

I actually still love Perdomo. I know they are one of the brands that are cool to hate but the 20 year Maduro, Barrel Aged maduro and most definitely the 12 Vintage Maduro are almost always to be found somewhere in my box. I do have some 10yr champagnes as well but they are not my favorite. I do however enjoy them with my coffee in the AM. All in all the construction is so consistent that i often recommend them to new smokers. They are almost guaranteed to at least have the best chance to discover wether or not they enjoy cigars.
