I don’t think so till laka you don’t need but after that if you planning inderhar pass so you gonna need someone with more experience because there is no define trail after that

Till triund there is no problem at all after that in winter there is so much snow that it’s not recommended if you are not an experienced hiker. I would suggest that first do some snow tracks with tracking grups first like kedarkantha, naag tibba and all.

If you visit in summer then yes. There one cafe in snowline and one at glacier they provide tents to stay but start early to avoid problem because they have limited stay options and it’s not safe to track in dark because it’s Himalayan bear’s territory
