Hi @adethewanders, thanks! I booked this apartment through Wunderflats, a short/long term rental platform like Airbnb but for apartments. It's a little more thorough of a process to book an apartment through them versus just a long stay w/ Airbnb, and was a cheaper option for me. I'll be making a video soon about tips on finding places here, neighborhoods, etc. if that helps :)

Wow literally in tears because your entire experience is like someone sharing my own story and thoughts. Im actually moving to Berlin this winter for the exact same reasons you shared in this video. Feels really good to feel understood and seen in this deep quest for belonging and expanding inspired by the nostalgia of a beautiful childhood. I think there is something to it when you are a mixed race/cultured person (like us) that leaves one with this feeling of not fully belonging anywhere, which leaves doors open for a beautiful expansive life journey.
