Oakland Yacht Club sponsors the Sweet 16 Series on Wednesday nights. THe last race was tonight, Aug28th. This video is some footage of the downwind and upwind finishes.

Encinal Yacht Club hosts the Twilight Series every other Friday evening during the summer months. The race tonight was the 8th race of the Series. The video is focused on the Starting Sequences of the four fleets. The video was shot on a Samsung Ultra 23 cellphone, from the top of the Panomar Building, where I live.

I am interested in the positioning of the boats for the 1 minute before the start of the race. I used my Samsung Ultra 23 phone to shoot the video, and edited it together using ClipChamp in Windows11.

On Feb. 29, 2024 the new City of Alameda Fireboat used the EYC docks to practice various drills. In this video, the boat walks sideways from one dock to the other.
