It is an amazing site, and I mention this site in my book "Sorcerers of Stone: Architects of the Three Ages." It definitely looks like so many similar sites in Peru, and Bolivia that I have seen. I would say that this is NOT Etruscan for that very reason. These types of sites tend to get categorized by archaeologists to the earliest known civilization in the country they are found, with the exception of Peru, where they still tend to call these Incan sites which is a fairly recent culture, however, the style of construction is found around the world, so I think we are seeing evidence of a lost ancient civilization here.

I’m not sure what your definition of a pyramid is, but if we go by its most defining feature - the shape - I can't quite see what you're considering a pyramid here. It’s an intriguing structure, but it’s not really a pyramid. If you look at 10:56 on the right, you'll notice it's anything but pyramid-shaped and we only see like two angles. Judging by the rest it may very well be that from another angle it looks square-ish. Sure, it has 'slopes,' but carving into the side of a hill gives you some triangular shape, too. It doesn’t make it a pyramid.
