Buckhorn is a small town surrounded by the lake. The Municipality of Trent Lakes is a lower-tier township in the rural, mostly wooded northern section of Peterborough County, Ontario, Canada. The municipality has a primarily cottage and tourist industry-based economy but has grown year round residency due to its commute distance to the Greater Toronto Area. I lived in Gatineau for 3 years and 7 years in Ottawa, before moving back to Singapore. Gatineau has some of the friendliest, most polite and cool happy-go-lucky people on this planet. It is a beautiful slow paced city surrounded by a lot of natural beauty. If only summers were longer....I'd stay forever but I couldn't adapt to the winters there. Miss the place and the people. I used to celebrate my birthday at the Pirate Cafe and jog along the Ottawa River in summer! Good Memories...
