He was a bad ass and he was my compa from the phoenix area.
Greatest accordionist and composer of all times. I got to be in LA Hacienda studios with him and some of the band members. Witnessed him do 100% of the audio behind each instrument and then behind the mixer. No way to describe the magic! He lives on in my world. He also played for 2 hours at my wedding in Corpus Christi 79, or 80🤷♂️. Doesn't matter cuz that one didn't last.

Heard Jr. Perales and his band back around 1968 in Clovis, New Mexico playing for a wedding dance. One of the best Tejano/Chicano bands to come out of Lubbock, Texas and the surrounding area. Many very talented musicians have come out of West Texas.
