I regularly play this prelude though it's a 'summer stroll' for me now I still love the interplay that Bach brings so seemingly effortlessly. I love hearing it on its intended instrument, the Cello. It's a big job on the cello, far more approachable on the guitar, but on the cello, you need a Yo-Yo Ma or someone at that level. It's a real workout on the cello.

This is still the best guitar performance of this piece on the internet. It is very close to Parkening's version but with more bass lines added. Just incredible! I wish I had her transcription!

Even today, i have heard no version of this piece that matches Li Jies fluidity. I wish classical guitar wasn't such niche today, she deserves to be heard and people deserve to hear such beautiful pieces.

Beautiful. This is the rare instance where the artist deploys the more complex baseline, similar to Segovia's version. In almost every other version I can find, artists normally alternate the D octave as the base line. Adding the base A note in between brings the piece closer to the original cello version, IMHO.

Been listening to her playing many times since 8 years ago. So much expression put into it. Can't find anyone else that can interpret better.

She has always been very good,her technique seems effortless, I enjoy most of this version,but then again,everyone has their own "vision" of what compliments these wonderful masterpieces,in their own versions,It's why I prefer to do my own interpretations as well.

Definitely one the best rendition of Bach’s 1007. Great sounds from the guitar, tonal balance skillfully maintained, polyphonic counterpoints are well presented with artistry! Vest best from China.

This kid was prodigious. 13 yo probably, still can't find better executions on the net of the pieces she plays. Sad she hasn't her own Channel today, to post her music.

I am obsessed with the Bach Cello Suites. Normally, I'm not much of a fan of works transcribed for different instruments than the original. But I could listen to this over and over again. In fact, I have.

我听过无数人弹过这首巴赫的曲子，李洁的这个版本弹的最好。整体流畅，稳当，错落有致，非常有巴洛克的感觉。好中的最好是--不做作。谱子编配的也好。不愧是陈志老师的学生。更让人吃惊的是李洁在演奏这首曲子的时候，她才十多岁，已经完爆很多当时名气比她响的人了。

Para los que dicen en los comentarios que la interpretación de Li Jie está acelerada o es "nerviosa": esta es la versión mejor tocada que he escuchado de esta pieza entre todas, incluyendo las de los mejores intérpretes de cello.
