I love how since we headcanon'd T. Hawk as Sarge from the other games, his death is more or less treated as a lose condition by the game going forward. Lol

I really hope we get another successor to this franchise. It was quite formative in my youth. I even had an army man in my collection I named Sarge as he was a neat model.

At 22:44 now, and I didn't think of using their tanks against them. Also, I usually keep the disguise until a mission where 6 green tanks have to cross 2 bridges to get to an artillery cannon so I don't lose anyone (I also put soldiers basically on the tanks to restrict their movement until the game gives up and assigns them to my squad). Edit: one strategy I use for the end game is to hoard at least 3 napalm airstrikes until the final mission and then use them on the objective and just win like that

I'm at 12:11 as of posting this comment, and you're normally supposed to have the demolition guy join your squad, but it didn't because I think your other soldiers planting the second explosive messed up their code and they never got reassigned to your squad like normal

didn't know there is another clone/sequel after toys in space. Army men 1 was different but 2, toys and world war looks same but I like the feel of being back in army men world instead fighting in bedroom. Also balance is difference i guess and no Sarge?

I have not played this one as well but it seems epic, with great music and faithful to the previous games, I loved the part where the instructor cheated 😂 RTS is basically age of empires in terms of gameplay but that also makes it easy to get into and finish it quickly and the enviorments are pleasant to visit

Man this is great. I still have my PC Army Men collection from early 2000. World War was a nice change in tone.

Never played this one and I definitely will have to now. It is nice to get back to basics almost with the Army Men world after so much of the real world in the other games

On a semi-related note, the Blue Corperal in this video is named "Agent Powers," a Blue Sniper that can be recruited into the squad later on... if he survives up to that point.

FYI steam version works great on the deck. Dock it and add mouse keyboard you are good to go.

Fun Fact: I might be confusing this for the PS1 version, but it's safe to assume World War is the "Origin" episode of the Army Men chronology, as there's no mention of General Plastro, or portals. Both of which were present in Army Men 1.

May be late to the party but never the less happy to view. Excited to see what "nostagic" games of yours you cover next. If I may I would recomend Army men Air attack if posible. I personaly havent played the 1st one in over 15 plus years. The Army Men World at War games also great staples to anyones youth.

The title is completly acurate to how I feel watching you play thought the army men games. Nostalgia overload. I never played the pc versions until recently grew up playing the PS games ie World at War, World at War Land Sea & Air, Army Men 3D and Sarges Heroes 1 & 2. Lets not forget the amzing Army Men Air Attack. Keep up the good work boss looking forward to watching your vids from now on.
