Просмотров 16421 час назад
Today we are installing a Start-X remote starter for a 2023 Ford Bronco Sport. It is a plug and play system. There are no wires to cut and splice. Simply plug the wiring harness that comes with the unit into the diagnostic port and sync it to your vehicle. No need to program a new key fob or carry around an extra fob. Concrete Pumpkin

Here is a cute way to get rid of a partial bag of concrete mix. If I have an opened bag of concrete mix, I know it will more than likely draw moisture and set up before I have the need for it again. I can use it up making concrete pumpkins for decoration. Check it out.
2x4 Christmas Tree you can build
Просмотров 6 тыс.2 месяца назад
Today @raystoolbox we are making some Christmas Trees. You may have seen them around the past few years. These trees are made from a 10'-2x4. Simple cuts on a miter saw will make this project go quickly. After it's finished, you can decorate it any way you chose. Try coffee cup hooks to make it easy to hang lights or ornaments from it. Take a look.
Driftwood Lamp
Просмотров 2992 месяца назад
While on vacation this year I found a piece of driftwood. It was very waterlogged and heavy. It was just screaming for me to take it home and make something out of it. I was able to make not one, but two, lamps out of it. First, we needed to stabilize the wood to make it workable. Take a look and see what you think.
Fix a Rotted Door Jamb

Today I'm fixing a rotted door jamb. This also works for a rotted window seal. Instead of replacing the entire piece of wood, I can repair where it sits.
How to stabilize driftwood using Cactus Juice
Просмотров 2633 месяца назад
Today we are going to stabilize driftwood. We found a chunk of wood drifting along the beach in the water this year. It was screaming for me to make something out of it. It was very heavy and saturated with water. The first thing we needed to do was dry it out in an oven to evaporate all the moisture from it. It was very soft, light and brittle, almost falling apart in your hand. Then we placed...

Nicely done Ray. That turned out really good.
@@hosejockey14 Thanks. Always good to hear from you. I’m glad it went together as nice as it did 😊
Thanks, Mike, for the great background music :-)
Sir can you give me a quote on the saw please I also need an 18 inches band Sawand a complete Router and table
@@PeterVictorin-e2x I purchased the saw from Menards. This time of the year is a great time to look for deals. You might also look at Grizzly for the saws and router. I have purchased several tools from both places.
Just now getting started trying these. Had to watch again lol. Great reference video. Do you have a video of the flag one in the background towards the end??? It’s gorgeous too. Thx
@@loristeger9381 I have the footage from making the flags. I haven’t put it together yet. Glad you like. I’ll probably get that together the first part of the year.
Lovely family craft!!
Super cute!! Thx. Merry Christmas!!
great video my friend so well explained thank you so much
@@brianwagner9518 thank you
Not a robust system, I installed it at my holiday home in Sri Lanka two years ago. The house is protected with a Lightning Conductor as well as a surge protector (TVSS). Out of the 8 cameras only three are working today. I have been losing cameras in very short order. Does not appear that they are put together with quality material. Expensive junk.😡
it looks like you had to have a lot of strength to drill those nails in. I am not sure I can push that hard.
@@lewistonhomes after I learned to put the bottom on last it went a lot easier.
How is the paint holding up? Looking back would you do anything differently?
@@GeneineRust I don’t think I would change anything. I painted a similar one for my daughter the same way this year.
@ would you mind sharing the type of paint and clear coat you used?
@@GeneineRust Both came from Menards. I did ask at the paint counter what they recommended. I told them what I was painting. I had them mix up the colors I wanted. For the color coat I used Dutch Boy Dura Weather MaxBond Semi-Gloss Exterior Acrylic Latex house paint. For the clear coat I used Varathane Ultimate Sparurethane Water Based Crystal Clear Gloss. Good Luck with your project. Thanks for watching 🙂
Awesome .. but my pit still didn't start after replacing the igniter 😢
@@sanchoramirez8357 I don’t know if you have the same issue. I had to remember to get the chamber fed/primed before mine started.
❤️these. I’m thinking base on bottom like your other tree video. This may just be my Christmas tree this year!!!! Debating on color maybe shades of green then stained. Thanks so much for inspiration!! Keep projects coming. Lol
@@loristeger9381 glad you like it. Send a photo of the one you make 😊
Awesome build! ❤️the burnt finish
@@loristeger9381 thanks
Super cute project ❤️
Great “How to”. Thank you! My Laredo 1000 is pretty problematic. You saved me lots of time and frustration with err code.
@@SummitVDO I hope the video helped. Thanks for watching.
@ pit boss is sending me a new igniter under warranty so hopefully that solves the issue. I’ll watch your video again when I install it. 😄
❤️these. Wanted to make the star shape with individual cut pieces but I think it was 60degree cut & I couldn’t make that cut safely in my opinion on the miter saw. This way can make a different way but get same results thanks😊
Great lil house! You are an amazing instructor. Break it down to where I can understand. Thanks
Awesome way to make your own mould!!! Another inspiration. Do you have video of the barnwood look cross? I believe I saw in the first video of yours I watched. Just getting back in my wood shop working after a long rest lol. ❤️your videos. Keep them coming please!!
@@loristeger9381 I’m glad you enjoy 😊
Awesome. ❤️shop projects. Very unique.
So glad I found your page!!! Been trying for a month to figure out these designs. Just popped up on FB. Glad it did. Will definitely be binge watching your videos. I hope you do more. Thanks!!
I’m glad I could help. I enjoy tinkering around with things. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
Nice. Lots of different options with those barn quilts. Good stuff.
@@hosejockey14 thanks 😊
How can I only record at night
@@lauralee321 On my system you can set a recording time on each camera and then have it repeat daily.
Nice one, mate. Merry Christmas. 👍👍👏🌲🌲
Thank you. Merry Christmas to you
I have the same saw but it is called HBM 10” here in The Netherlands. In the UK this gets sold as a Lumberjack 10”. Same everything. The overal quality is okay, but the side tables are crap. None are truly flat. This is the 2nd one I have as I sent the first one back, because one of the side tables was so bad. What kind of arbor does the Rikon have? Overall I will be very happy once the Wixey fence has been installed. My safety switch is different and of course everything is in metric. But like I said all the other stuff is the same. Hope you enjoy your saw!
Easy peasy
I like the bumper sticker had to subscribe
Thanks for subscribing. Happy to have you here.
HI RAY IM BEHIND YOU ON THE ROAD
Sorry I missed you. Hello there :- )
Good idea, if you catch it early it can be patched. If you use a wood block it needs to fit well, a combo of wood and bondo/filler can work well too. Main thing is to get rid of all the rotten material so it has something solid to protect!
Agreed. Thanks for the reply.
great job
Thanks
This is the Ridgid R4512 but with a better fence. I am even surprised that it has the original 4 wheel mobile base versus the 3 wheel base that Ridgid switched to in the R4520(?) model. That said, I love my 4512, and recently upgraded the fence.
This is my first table saw that wasn’t just a $100 saw. It is perfect for what I do. Glad you like yours as well.

Nice to know you this information 😮
You did an amazing job, thank you!
@@smitchell22 thanks, glad you enjoyed it.
Thank you for sharing this.
I started turning a year or so ago on a mini harbor freight lathe. Despite some of the reviews, I found it to be just like any other tool. If you respect it, do the proper maintenance, and don’t try to treat it like it stole something from you, it has worked flawlessly. I’m now in the process of upgrading to a full size lathe which most I’ve looked at are in the $3000 range. I’ve been curious about the grizzly lathes. I know many people who use their joiners and planers and love them. You’ve given me something to think about. If the company cares enough to recall certain pieces of their machinery for customer safety, that says something.
I agree. I was pleasantly surprised myself. It did take a few months for the new pieces to arrive. However they did let me know that upfront as they were made overseas. I have bought from them in the past and will buy from them again. Thanks for taking the time to comment.
Great video.
Always good to hear. I’m glad you like. Thanks for the comment.
They are beautiful. 👏👏👍👍🇦🇺🇦🇺
Thank you. It’s always good to hear. :-)
You like chemicals in ur food, there's gone be constant moisture,on the bottom of that lid,& you got all sorts of chemicals, stain, clear coat, what else,
Not for food. Mostly for looks. We have it sitting in the living room. I keep my BP cuff and scope in it.
Igniter def was popping my outlets. Now to get the new one in
Hope I helped some. Good luck and thanks for the reply. 😊
Nice little project right up my alley! Great Job man.
Thanks for the reply. Glad you like it.
Great video Ray! Will need to do this soon! God bless
Thank you :-)
I had the same saw with the Ridgid brand for over 10 years, I had build many kitchen cabinets and the saw still going, the saw it’s not perfect but it does the job. I have a out fit table and a left side table and help a lot cutting big panels.
I like that idea. I can see making an outfeed table for this.
Good Job
Thanks
What brand are those stains? my father seen this video and is looking for them!
For the most part I use Minwax. I like the capillary properties of that brand. Hope he enjoys making these. I do. Thanks :- )
Awesome!!!
Thanks. Now I know how to open a box.
How can i gat the machine
I ordered it directly from grizzly.
I like it. Another fun project.
Thanks.
I just finished putting together the same saw, but I can't loosen the arbor flange nut for the life of me! Have you been able to change blades yet?
I haven’t tried to change blades as of yet. I plan to in a few months.
