The story of Harper's Last Convert is probably not true. The last convert never wrote his testimony down in print and attach his name to it. If the meeting ever happened, we don't know when exactly it was, or what type of meeting it was, or the names of the people who attended. Nobody who attended bothered to write down the name of the convert either or record details of the meeting. As for the claim that Harper said 'Woman, children, and the unsaved into lifeboats', well no survivor ever wrote that down in print either. The story is either untrue, or the last convert was one of the many hoaxers who pretended to be on the Titanic.
